"Love with a local restaurant serving delicious Peruvian dishes, but the service leaves something to be desired. here to brunch after they have not come to the restaurant since the pandemic. the restaurant had about 6 tables with customers with only one waitress who worked their **** off. the bartender, cook and all the other employees were all on their handys. I would look after several paintings or go to the bathroom, except that this waitress was on her handy. no dringiness, no proactivity. in restaurants there is never a lack of things to do. this is clearly not the case to the personal. at one point I heard that the waitress apologises and makes a speech to the table next to me about the delay of her drinks. I look back to the bartender and the bartender? we asked the bartender for a water replenishment, and he asked the waitress to get it for us when she fucked the tables. I felt pretty bad for this waitress. she worked so hard while the men around her did very little. they even ate their layer meal behind the bar, in full the customer. Why couldn't she do that on the back while her employees picked up the black for 10 minutes? so grief. I like this place, but the personal needs to teach in hospitality and service."

"I'm from Chicago, but I absolutely love diners. I used to work at a gym nearby, and this place popped up on my feed. I was in the mood for a chicken salad (which they didn’t have), but what I ended up getting was even better! I ordered the Durango sandwich, which came with bacon, speck, guacamole, ranch, chili peppers, cheese, and maybe a few other ingredients. It was a fantastic sandwich! The waitress was also really nice. If you're looking for a great spot for breakfast or lunch (they serve breakfast all day), definitely give Kassidy's a try!"

"The place it self is cool, the girls in the front where nice. I had 2 slices, one pep. And one meat lover. To be honest the pizza was very mid. Off the one bite scale, the pizza was a 5.7, the meat lover slice had a plastic taste, literally had to scrape the ham off. Also had a burger the week later, because my coworker said it was really good, won't trust her again! It literally tastes like a burger king burger. And small, definitely not worth $16, so needless to say, but I'm going to say it, I won't be back. To pricey for mediocre food, but hey try for yourself."

"However, I do find the prices quite high; for instance, the guacamole and chips are $17. While I appreciate that they use all organic ingredients, the portion size for that price feels a bit small. If they're going to charge so much for something so simple, I think they could afford to give a little more guacamole. On the plus side, the outdoor seating is fantastic—it's a lovely place to dine in the summer! There's also plenty of parking available, which is a nice bonus. I'm looking forward to returning and exploring the rest of their menu!"

"My husband and I decided to try this place because it had decent reviews and it’s not far from home. It was our first and last time here. We were seated immediately but it took a long time for anyone to offer coffee and it took even longer for our food to arrive. I had the chicken fried chicken which was literally just a plain fried chicken breast without breading and I had to ask for the gravy for it. My husband ordered the bacon waffle and it was pretty much a rock hard frisbee with one slice of bacon thrown on top of it for about $13. You’re given plastic utensils and he almost broke his knife and fork trying to cut into it. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Make the drive into Oak Lawn to Golden Bear, Huck Finn, or the Original Pancake House because this place was disappointing!"

"We just had Mothers Day brunch although my husband and I come here for dinner fairly often, the brunch today was so fantastic I felt the need to leave a review! (I honestly don’t know why I didn’t leave a good review sooner because we’ve always had a great time here) The staff was so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Juliana was our waitress and she was so kind and on top of things. The entire staff was constantly taking plates and helping our group have a clean table while also having the food come out at a good speed. it was amazing. The food was great as always! The service was even better! We already said we are definitely booking blend for Mother’s Day next year!!"

"Their food wasn't as Mexican as I thought it would be , but it was very fresh and not bad at all. It's my teenage son's favorite place to go and eat. The service was impeccable. Great waitress, was on point ,always had a smile. Knew my son from him going in so much to eat. Had great manners , and was very down to earth and had great conversation with her.With that said , it was slow when we went so she had the chance to talk and just made my first experience comfortable, and super friendly. The food wasn't bad at all , prices were absolutely great, and service was awesome. I will definitely return."

"Where shall I begin? We were near the bar and our view consisted of dirty drink glasses the entire 1.5 hours. The service was slow. The apps took like 30+ mins and were cold by the time we got them. The food was expensive and extremely overpriced. Three of us got pasta and they came out in small soup bowls. I got a shrimp pasta that was supposed to have oil olive and garlic. The garlic was scarce and the tatse was bland. There was a skin of unknown origin in my pasta I found halfway through. My son had an overcooked meatball in his pasta. Oh and wine which ranged from $13-15 a glass were filled 1/4 of the way full. It was a $200 bill before they took off about $50 and even then I felt like I was being robbed. Oh and the cherry on top was hearing our server say to the table behind us, maybe you got a bad batch of mussels. "

"First, we tried to reserve for 1pm, but were told two other large parties were already booked. We opted for a 2pm reservation instead. We originally had a reservation for 30 diners, but dropped it to 20 an hour or so prior because a third of our party chose to go separate to avoid the wait. We arrived 30 minutes early and checked in, but we were told we couldn 't be seated until 2 pm. Then we watched a party of 15 with no reservation get seated after waiting less than 5 minutes. When we were finally seated promptly at 2:01pm. We were seated in the same area as the portion of our party that arrived earlier with no reservation and an extra 10 people (so 20 people seated with minimal wait and no reservation). Finally seated. Waited about 10 more minutes for drink orders, then another 10 for drinks to arrive and to give appetizer orders. The onion fries (blooming onion) was burnt. Finally ordered dinner, and it arrived after a reasonable wait. The food was great, with one exception. The grilled chicken breasts were squashed flat and had the tenderness of a rubber tire. The ribs and shrimp were delicious; well seasoned, perfectly fried, and served with a yummy bbq sauce. All the diners eating the grilled chicken opted to coat it in the bbq sauce and dig in with heavy artillery (steak knife and fork). My jaw still hurts from chewing! If the chicken had been fall off the bone tender like the ribs, i would have still given five stars even though we really felt like we were not seated intentionally. High five to our server, he should have had help, but he did a pretty good job by himself. In short, 1) just show up, dont bother with a reservation, and 2) stay away from the grill chicken breast unless you are working on having a well-defined, chiseled jawline. Parking: Th restaurant parking is not easily found if you aren 't a camper. It could use a big sign that says Restaurant parking this way Kid-friendliness: The kids menu needs a little help, no vegetables or fruit offered. Only fries or mashed potatoes are offered. But we were permitted to sub steamed veggies. Fries still brought out on accident."

"the host greeted us when we were hotel guests. we said no, and she said that's okay, she could still take us. we both thought to go. the restaurant was empty except 1 table and we made a reservation, but she did not ask. the waitress was sweet trying to remember our order, but forget both the speck and the roasted egg on the burger. she could pick me up the Lox/Bagel Shot, and she didn't charge us for a $9 beer to maintain for her mistake. the food was good."

"We went for our 37th anniversary. We chose lunch time as it is generally less crowed. The selection of food went well with my no carb diet. All the food selections we tried were very tasty. The tomato/meatball soup, scallop skewers, motz balls, cheddar cheese and German ham, whole chicken wings, and my wife got one of the special salads (which she completely finished, which is unusual for her). Then my wife got a special coconut dessert with German chocolate cake, she loved it. It is not inexpensive, but it was our anniversary. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Worth a try,"

"I had never been to Prime One Eleven before this experience, but you can bet I’ll be back! The food was out of this world! I wouldn't claim to be a food critic, but I know a good steak when I taste one, and this was phenomenal—cooked to my definition of perfection (medium). Everyone in our party loved their dishes. I never had to wonder where my waiter was; they struck the perfect balance between being attentive and giving us space, showing up at just the right times. Kudos to Prime One Eleven for achieving that balance! As for the prices, yes, they might seem high to some, but you know what? It's worth every penny. I have nothing else to say—just go and see for yourself!"

"My wife and I visited Hickory Tavern for the first time last night. I was a bit surprised that a sports bar was empty on a Saturday night during college football season. We were seated right away by a host, but waited nearly 15 minutes for awaiter/waitress to attend to us. We noticed that out of the entire restaurant, there were only two waitresses working all 8tables that had guests. Along with two waitresses, there was one bartender, and then about 4 guys (waiters? who werejust...standing there. Not working, not checking on guests. They were just standing near a table, on their phones, andoccasionally looking at us and other guests. As we were about to say screw it and leave, a waitress came over to apologize forthe long wait, say there was some confusion in the kitchen, and got out drink order. Then, one of those guys that had justbeen standing there not working appeared with an order of complimentary BBQ nachos and gave them to us. We ate those whilewatching football. Waitress came back 5 minutes later with our waters, and got our food order. After she wrote it down, shewarned us that the kitchen is slow. We noticed our drinks had been sitting at the bar for about 10 minutes before our waitressnoticed and brought them to us. Our food came out at a reasonable time, and it was okay. Our waitress didn 't check on us whileeating our food. We noticed that she wasn 't at any other table either. We finished our food, continued to watch football, andwaited another solid 10 minutes before our waitress asked if we wanted our check. We said yes, and she responded I 'll get thatas soon as I can. Which we would 've understood if she was busy attending other tables...but she wasn 't. She just went back tothe kitchen and disappeared for another 5 10 minutes.
