"I recently dined at Char , and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, making it a perfect spot for a nice meal. I ordered the Chicken Piccata, which was absolutely delicious. The flavors were well balanced, and it was cooked to perfection. The Wedge Salad was also impressive; it was fresh and crisp, complementing the main dish beautifully. I tried the Pork Chop, which was cooked well but a bit salty for my taste. It might be perfect for those who enjoy a stronger flavor profile. To top off the meal, I indulged in the Caramel Cheesecake. It was simply amazing—rich, creamy, and the caramel added a wonderful touch. Overall, I highly recommend Char for its great food and lovely atmosphere. I look forward to returning to try more dishes!"

"What an incredible bar and grill! I tried their burger, and it's a must-try for both locals and visitors to the Mentor area! The fries were perfectly crispy, and the burger was wonderfully juicy. The Moscow mule was also excellent; you could tell the bartender really knew what he was doing. The next time we're in the Mentor area, we will definitely stop by again. It was a 10/10 experience and very family-friendly! I can't wait to visit Mentor again so we can return!"

"Our server was new but was super sweet and tried her best to give great service. We were there to relax and have a good time so we were not in a rush. Food was good as always though one of our desserts (chocolate brownie) was dry and hard suggesting it was rather dated. We sent it back and got tiramisu instead. Server was kind and traded it no questions asked Only thing to improve would be managing reservations a bit more... I know the night was busy but we did make a reservation and were seated minutes after our time which was frustrating since that is why we made the reservation; so we didn't have to wait. Besides that, the night was great 💖"

"Went here last Wednesday night 9/7, I got a drink and opened a tab so the bartender swiped my card to keep it open. Ended up only getting 2 beers ,when I asked for my check she said she needed my card again to close out which I thought was weird sincethey already swiped it to keep it open (been here before never needed my card twice) but gave it to her anyway. Woke up the nextmorning to 2 different amount charges on my card. I also work in the industry so I know mistakes happen sometimes, I waited acouple days for it to go from pending to posted just in case the card was accidentally swiped on a different check but notfinalized, but both charges went through. Called Saturday and they said manager would be in Sunday and they would pass themessage so I could get a refund, flash forward today 9/16, no refund. Went in, manager wasn?t in again, so I just called my bankand disputed the charge there. Anyway, wouldn?t recommend this place, plenty other bars in the area you can go to and not haveyour money stolen from you."

"To not seat a party until everyone arrives is one thing, but to continue to make everyone wait even when the whole party is there until the bar tab is paid and the bartender is nowhere to be found is another thing and unacceptable. All while our table sat there ready and empty. Hostesses were pretentious, unfriendly, and not helpful. Our server, however, was great. Next, the food. $12 for the most basic, boring vegetable sides ever (Brussels sprouts, broccolini); Absolutely nothing special about them. I could’ve done better myself and I don’t cook. Steaks were good, burgers were good, but a lot of other places in town have an equivalent with sides included and minus being treated like we were going to bail on a bar tab. If you’re going to charge fine dining prices, it needs to be a fine dining experience from start to finish. We won’t be back."

"The fries are amazing! Pretty sure I could have eaten the entire bowl if I was at dinner alone. My friend has been here many times, but this was my first. I thought everything was delicious, but the service was slow. I was hangry by the time my food arrived, and everything came out at the same time. Our starter items were the Peppers and Fried Cauliflower. The peppers should be a starter item to hold you over until your meal arrives. We had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, a Mini Burger, an order of Fries, the Cauliflower, and the Peppers. My personal favorites are the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Fries. I'd order them again. Fries were fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Service was slow. It was a Saturday afternoon and most of their guests sat out on that patio. We did too. It took a while for water to be brought to our table even though we ask for it. We waited some time for the food and was getting a little impatient and then all the dishes arrived at the same time. When we ran out of water, we asked for a new bottle. Maybe they were short a server.... Metered parking on Fairfax. Some unrestricted parking in the residential neighborhood in the area."

"First order from here thru UberEats. It was very good I got the ho hungry wrap and added a few things and it was delicious. I also have the Mambo passion smoothie, it was very delicious. I wanted a cookie, but it wasn't super discriptive on Uber eating so I called and asked what flavors they had, the first person put me in the hold and then it changed to another person, but she could answer my question! overall it was good to order again"

"The dining area is very nice and quaint. We were able to sit in the semi private room with a few other tables. The ambiance was beautiful as it is nearing Valentines. The food was amazing and tasty. I didn't get any drinks to know the look or taste. Service from the attendant to the waitstaff was very good as well. Paid valet parking. Make sure to read the parking signs if you self park."

"Was a weird experience trying to get noticed in order to pay. Not busy, only 1 other person in line and not a single worker said hello or offered to help. I eventually just sat to eat the food and paid after but again I had to hail a person in order to actually pay. 100% could have just walked right out without paying, it's like they didn't even care. I had sticker shock at the price. $20 for the premade virtually unseasoned chicken avocado burger over totally regular raw baby spinach (where was the avocado??? . I appreciate the healthy convenience option (1* for concept but that's way too high, that's 100% markup or at least 50% higher than any other healthy premade lunch options in the area (or Manhattan . All the tables were dirty. I wouldn't come again. Great ideas, terrible execution."

"Have come a couple of times and enjoy it more each time. Initially I wasn 't a huge fan maybe ordered wrong thing, maybe they were figuring things out, but my shrimp was a little dry if tasty, and there was too much raw cabbage. I tried them again for another lunch and now breakfast and have loved it both times. The food is fresh and tasty and you feel good about eating it. Even donuts or muffins which I usually avoid feel indulgent and not guilty. The space is light and great for hanging out except for being in a strip mall. The College Menu makes me laugh will have to try those out. Perhaps only downside is the price, but I feel you get your money 's worth good food isn 't cheap. Portions are small but dense. Maybe a lumberjack wouldn 't be satisfied here but my husband and I never leave hungry. And I don 't feel like I need to go work out after a meal here. You can 't put a price on that!"

"This was the first time dining at Needle Rock. The main dinning area was too chilly for me. We moved upstairs and it was much better, but still a little chilly. Our lunch was delicious, presented well and the service was good. I rated it only as good as I had to request a drink refill. The waitress responded quickly, I just don't like to request a refill. We will be returning next month, the menu is extensive and we want to try something different, too many wonderful choices!"
