"I visited the restaurant for dinner and to enjoy Happy Hour with my little sister and cousins, and we had an amazing time! Our waitress was fantastic, and the food was delicious. I had the Shrimp and Grits, and I love seeing how each restaurant puts its own twist on this classic dish. This particular version was the most unique I've tried, and it was quite good. It had a nice kick of spice—tingly but not overwhelming. Definitely a great choice! I also enjoyed a Mango Margarita, which was delightful. One of my cousins ordered the Fish and Chips, which is also featured in the photos. I will definitely be returning to try more items on the menu! A tip for parking: use one of the nearby parking garages, as they validate for up to 4 hours!"

"I recently bought breakfast here and the food is always very tasty and plentiful. During my last visit, which was an extradition of almost $50, I ordered a stack of pancakes I didn't get. I called back and the owner recognized the mistake and told me through the waitress, he would make my pancakes and I could pick them up that day. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it back because of work. I called 5/26/22 today to get her and was told that he probably wouldn't do her because I couldn't come to the day she wasn't put in my order. I was in my hand for 10 minutes when they asked him about it and then someone hung on me. I called back to a busy signal. Even places like McDonald's make your order a week later if you can't do it again. That was very bad and I'm not sure I want to visit this facility again. I let everyone know that the food is good, service is questionable if you don't get everything right. You can never get it."

"NOT ALLEGRY FRIENDLY We were just refused service at the Barnside Dinner. Despite not having any allergen on site, no peanuts, the manager said that they won’t take this risk of serving us because our son has a peanut allergy. We were asked to leave. A customer shouted at my wife to leave. Brought our son here for breakfast. He was wanting to try the little diner. We were thrown out of the building because our son has a peanut allergy and they did not want to take any risk there might be a peanut somewhere despite telling us they had pecans. So they throw out anyone who has an allergy."

"With my new strict diet restrictions, I was thrilled to see individual honey packets right next to the jellies. The homemade bread was fantastic, and the toast was exceptional. I have a feeling the staff could list every ingredient in their dishes, and you'd probably have them in your kitchen. As a personal challenge, I suggest buying a loaf of bread from the store and trying to read the ingredients. I kept the menu after placing my order to look for future meal ideas if I enjoyed my food. Their menu offers a nice variety without being overwhelming—no 200 extra items cluttering it. They excel in what they do, and I was impressed by the variety of honey options. They had plenty of items even my doctor would approve of. The egg options were great, and I had a delicious meal at an honest and affordable price—a rarity these days. Nina's is a hidden gem that has been part of the community for a long time. Be sure to check it out, and don’t forget to snap a selfie in front of the mural wall documenting Kalamazoo History 2024. P.S. Be careful with the pepper shaker—it's a bit too generous!"

"No food photos b/c every time I?ve gone I?ve sent my food back. I?ve tried this location twice and even ventured to the one in Fort Worth because I was told it was better. Three strikes you?re out, Social House is just a no for me. Each time I?ve gone it?s been doing brunch and my food was either over cooked or undercooked. I will say the restaurant is cute and the atmosphere is nice. The best thing about it for me is the breakfast shot! This is why they even got 2 stars.I wouldn?t go back to eat, but for drinks absolutely. Their mimosa carafes are reasonably priced and light in the juice just like I like it!"

"I ordered the eggs Benedict, which was delicious. However, the real standout of the meal was the hash browns, which were absolutely perfect. I also tried one of my fiance's french fries and they were equally excellent. These were some of the best potato-based side dishes I've had in a while. In summary, be sure to get some type of potatoes on the side no matter what you order. This restaurant really knows how to cook up some tasty taters."

"It was pretty good. I wasn?t blown away with the waffles. Didn?t love how raw and whole the pearl sugar was on the outside of the waffles, it wasn?t caramelized at all so it was still crunchy and kinda awkward. The cristo could have used more jam, perhaps some on the outside as well as inside. Lemon curd on the southern belle was deliciously tangy, so that?s good. Overall the flavors were nice, we just weren?t totally wowed."
