"During my first visit to Bistro 70, I was initially underwhelmed. The restaurant felt warm and had a diner-like atmosphere. We were seated right by the kitchen door, which could definitely use a fresh coat of paint. When I asked the waiter for a recommendation, he seemed unable to suggest anything, which was a bit off-putting. Luckily, we decided to stay, and I’m glad we did because the meal turned out to be excellent. The chef even came out to check on how we liked our food. For dessert, we ordered the brown butter cake with vanilla ice cream, and it was delicious. A few nicer touches, such as cloth tablecloths, could really enhance the experience, but overall the food was impressive. We’ll definitely be coming back!"
