"The Sleepy Rooster is all too easy to miss if you 're driving past. It 's one of several establishments at a small strip mall, tucked in between a convenience store and a hair salon. Once inside, however, you 'll find a large, bright, beautifully renovated space with lots of inviting seating options, whether the bar, standalone tables, or booths. In line with its operating hours mornings and early afternoons the menu is compact and focused on breakfast and lunch. The goetta with eggs stood out to me, so I gave it a try. It 's a German breakfast sausage that mixes up beef, pork, steel cut oats, onions, and eggs, and comes out in hashed form. It was definitely an interesting mix of flavors and textures, and when combined with eggs and toast on the side, made for a satisfying and moderately filling breakfast. My food was served very quickly, although other aspects of service were somewhat slow on a moderately busy weekend morning where the venue was about 85% full. Still, it was worth it to trek out here and discover the Guetta in this bright, energizing space."
