"It's been a really long time, since I just walked out of a restaurant. Ten years in kitchens, I have a good grasp of how things get during a rush, and fall through the cracks. This was no rush. There were three other tables, when I sat down. Forty five minutes (minimum, I'm not walking around with a stopwatch) later, I'm watching every table that sat since me, enjoy their food. One of them is even packing up their leftovers. So yeah, if you're not part of a party, I guess skip this location. I've been going here since 2019, but the last few trips have just been progressively worse. Did they get a new owner/manager, or something?"

"The cauliflower pizza crust is fantastic! I was initially skeptical about trying it, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's incredibly delicious and satisfying! The manager is also very friendly—he took the time to explain that cooking the crust a bit longer enhances the flavor and overall experience. I highly recommend trying their pizzas; every bite is delightful and there's nothing to complain about!"

"Had a reservation for people, we were seated after a short wait. Our waiter took our order timely however that's where the service ended. Salads came out about minute later. The house salad consisted of only greens on a plate with a few tomatoes. We had ordered two other appetizers and soup. After minutes we were told it isn't unusual for long wait times on a weekend. Finally the grilled veggie stack came, the soup still didn't come and we told them to forget it at that point. Still took about minutes for main courses, one of which was a pizza. Food was good, not great, certainly not worth a wait of over an hour to get our food. We were never offered any apology or at least a free dessert for our wait. I won't be returning with so many other great choices on the island."

"I’m giving this place two stars because the staff I interacted with were very friendly. However, the food at this location left a lot to be desired. My meal, along with a small side of fries, cost over $26. The salad came with only four pieces of cheese, for which I was charged an extra $2. The sandwich was also disappointing; the vegetables were raw instead of cooked, which is not what you expect from a Philly. They mistakenly gave me chicken instead of steak but corrected it. Unfortunately, the dish still lacked flavor, and the veggies remained uncooked. While I do appreciate the customer service, the overall quality of the food just wasn’t great."

"Fantastic! They just did a full renovations on this place and it came out beautiful. And best part is the food is still delicious. Started with a warm focaccia bread with some ice cold NYC water to open up the palette. This time we tried mozzarella battens also the Burger and drunken dumplings (dont let name fool ya) its a pasta dish and its off the hook. The vodka sauce was some of the best i ever had. The owner Joe out did himself again. What a great environment perfect for date night or even a quick bite. The wait staff was great George explained some of the dishes. One thing it was lacking was alcohol. I hope soon. But the food makes up for it. We will be back of course."

"My husband and I stopped by traveling through town today for the first time. The Stromboli we ordered was fantastic! What impressed us most, however, was the way the staff handled themselves with a few disgruntled customers who weren't too kind. The staff's response was a perfect example of customer service as they remained calm and accommodating. "I ordered a large pizza with pepperoni, jalapeños, and mushrooms after not having ordered from this place in a long time, and I may not again in the future. The pizza was decent, but I felt shortchanged on the toppings. I paid $2 for each topping, and while I got a good amount of pepperoni as usual, I was really disappointed with the jalapeños and mushrooms. I only received about 10 jalapeños and 15 slices of mushrooms, which isn’t enough to evenly distribute across the pizza. It’s frustrating to spend that much on toppings and not get value for money, especially with rising prices everywhere. Customers deserve better, and honestly, I think I deserve a $2 refund for the lack of jalapeños and mushrooms on my pizza. It's clear that the restaurant is doing well, but it's disappointing that they don’t seem to care about customer feedback. I've raised this issue here before and even mentioned it in person during my visits, but it seems like no one is listening."

"I recently visited Johnny Brusco's in Johnson City, my second visit after going to the one in Kingsport. Whenever I visit the Tri-Cities, I always crave Italian food, but my husband isn't a big fan. However, I finally convinced him to try Johnny Brusco's in Kingsport and we both loved it. Even my kids enjoyed the food, which includes a variety of dishes like pizza, calzones, stromboli, bruschetta, chicken dip, and wings. The marinara sauce is a standout, made fresh and not from a can or jar. I always take extra home to enjoy with my leftovers. We will definitely be back, and our waiter Jay was fantastic with his charisma, personality, and great customer service."

"Our bartender, Raul, was very engaging and helpful. We decided to stay at the bar because we enjoyed his company so much. The drinks were well-balanced, and the house wine was actually really tasty. "8•30•24 Came in tried the chicken Alfredo was delish, the chicken picante was amazing the Tiramisu is okay, reason. It is a bit to over empowered with cinnamon a bit to much cant taste the coffee flav it should have was a bit dried not moist as it should been but it was alright. But Pastas are always Great. Came here on my birthday on the 2nd of March on a Saturday, and it was fantastic. My waiter was awesome and recommended me how to prep my calamari it was so good that he added a bit of spice, but the just right kind, i will order this again. As for our main course, always a hit Angel hair Bianco, and Pollo de Carlito always on par trust me the portion looks deceiving but you will get full its very well portioned i always leave stuffed lol and food is super delish highly recommend those dishes. I have no regrets.Always love coming here to this Mama Mia restaurant. Food is always consistent, and if it keeps me like that, I'll continue to come and eat here. I really recommend that this place beats other common pizza restaurants. You won't regret the food here. I just updated recent food dishes. "This is a classic American pizza place. You won't find any thin crust or trendy hipster snacks here. "This was my first time visiting this establishment since I do not live in the area, but if I am ever in this area again I will not return. I found this place because of a Google search and after reading their reviews which were 4/5 I decided to give it a try. First, the server acted as if my presence was an inconvenience to her and she had a very non chalant attitude which was poor customer service in my opinion.Second, the pizza is very over priced as we paid $37 and some change for two medium pizzas. Third, all though the pizza was hot when we received it, the crust has no flavor at all it was like chewing a cardboard box with toppings. Also, I thought a Brooklyn style pizza was supposed to be thin, well this pizza was a little on the thick side. To make a long story short save your money and time by going to another pizza chain."

"Absolutely terrible service! We arrived for a late lunch and followed the sign’s instructions to seat ourselves. However, after nearly fifteen minutes of waiting without even being acknowledged, we decided to leave. A girl in the kitchen saw us but clearly didn't think it was worth notifying anyone else that we were waiting. We won't be coming back!"

"We were in town for a wedding and bar hopped afterwards. Not only was this place closed when we showed up… They decided to welcome us in and whipped a pizza up for us. That alone makes pizza phi stand out. Now that we’ve eaten the pizza there is no doubt that there’s not a better choice in the area. Phenomenal pizza, with a staff that is second to none. "We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Despite being very busy with takeout orders when we arrived, we were seated promptly and our drinks and food order were taken quickly. Even though the kitchen seemed to be busy, our food arrived promptly and was prepared exactly to our specifications. After our meal, both our server and the manager checked in with us to ensure we were happy with everything. "The ladies working the front could have been friendlier. For the restaurant to not be as busy at the moment it should have been way cleaner. I sat myself at a dirty seat and table. When getting a refill I had already been standing up at the bar area to get my sweet TV filled and I watched as the waitress walked the opposite way after seeing me up there. She then proceeded to take the drink orders from the customers and I had to interrupt her from that because I knew I had been standing there. That was also embarrassing. Definitely will not be back. Glad I'm just here in the area and not a local. Don't recommend it especially considering I paid $18 for it all."

"Every time I visit this location for a slice of pizza, it's disappointing. When I order a whole pizza, it's slightly better, but I decided to give it another shot after work on Friday, 10/28, and it was a bad decision! As usual, the crust was soggy and limp. I typically order the veggiedeluxe or gourmet, but they were overloaded with olives, almost as if I had specifically requested an olive pizza. This has been my experience every time I visit, whether for lunch or dinner; the slices are consistently soggy and filled with olives. I've started going to the Roswell, Georgia location instead, and it’s a much better experience! Even though it's the same company, the quality is noticeably different. It feels like a waste of money here."
