"I waited several weeks for Golden Valley Brewery And to respond to the review they themselves requested via direct email, but I never heard back—seems like only positive feedback is welcome. So here’s my experience: late last year, we visited their Beaverton location and enjoyed their hamburgers, which encouraged us to return. The second time, I tried their new wild salmon special, but it was disappointing—overpriced and the fish quality was poor. For our third visit, we went back to the hamburgers, and I ordered the GVB. We faced a long wait, and the server explained a large party in the back was causing delays. When my burger finally arrived, it lacked almost all typical toppings—just the meat and maybe some cheese, no lettuce, pickles, or tomato. The server offered to remake it, but I was too hungry to wait. Were they too focused on the big party in the back? That’s their problem, not mine. Was the chef forgetful or did they run out of ingredients? Again, that’s their issue. Honestly, they might have been better off sticking with their McMinnville location. If you want consistent quality and service for a similar price, I recommend going to Stanford’s—they’re far superior to this place."
