"I'm giving this place 4 stars because, while our experience was mostly positive, there was an issue that left us frustrated. Yesterday, our group ordered drinks and food, only to be informed by the waitress that they were out of french fries. We were then offered onion rings or coleslaw, but with a $1.99 upcharge. It feels unfair to make customers pay more when the restaurant has run out of a standard item. If the goal is to encourage return visits, that charge shouldn't have been added. The food was decent, the wait staff was fantastic, and the atmosphere was lovely, but the upcharge really dampened our experience. We aren't cheap people, but we believe that was an inconsiderate decision on the restaurant's part."
