"solid space overall. the prices were decent and the food was tasteful. my fiancée and I shared the crab abduction as an appetizer ($20 but they gave them a really good part.) although the half of the French baguette with which it came was remarkably old, hard and stale. When I asked if I could get a side that is fresher, the server looked at me as if I had 5 heads and said she had to check with the cook. After she came back, she tried to say that the chief essentially said no to me and I'm pretty sure I heard when I got the gist. I went on to explain that one of the leaves was perfect, warm, soft and pleasant, but the other half was not and that I needed more of the fresh bread. first she said, “Let me see what I can do.” I thought it was a bizarre experience and I almost didn't include in this review, but I thought it could show the level of the service. I'm pretty sure that our server as barkeeper doubles so that I only do it up to her, don't know the ins and outs of serving and the relationship with the kitchen, but I would suggest getting a table more in the es pane to have an actual server. Anyway, we got the laughs and the huh and again I thought it was very tasteful (can be a little too much salt on the huh) and decently expensive. we have a bottle of pino noir for $40, but it was average. I would probably come back for a casual lunch or a couple beer, but probably not for dinner service."

"Friday night reservation for 7:00. Seated promptly at a small metal table in the parking lot. Then waited 30 minutes without a visit from anyone that worked here. Went inside to let the owner know we were still there, he came out with menus and said someone would be over. After another 30 minutes we had drinks and water. An hour in, and we were finally having a drink and had placed an order for a shared app and dinners. Decent craft beer selection, however no carbonation at all and not near cold. 90 minutes into this adventure I stated asking the tables around us if they had ordered food and how that was going, everyone was there as long or longer than us and was still waiting on food. Our spiedini appetizer showed up finally with no plates and still no silverware. The waitress left and said she’d grab some and be right back. TEN MINUTES, we waited as this hot cheese dish turn ice cold. We got up and walked to our car and left. No, I had no intention of paying for the free drinks after wasting almost 2 hours at this $h!&show of a restaurant. The takeout business seemed to be brisk with lots of orders brought out to cars. I couldn’t help but wonder why the food for people eating there couldn’t be delivered to the table that efficiently. I honestly think there were 3 people working there, the husband and wife who seem to own it and one very young inexperienced waitress. There is not a big selection in Morris but do not go here if you are attending a show at South Farm. Maybe find a dead time when they can keep up. I’ve never written an open table review before but this experience could not be left unreported. Open Table has a reputation for quality dining, this was not what I would expect when making an OT reservation"
