"My wife and I got hungry while out shopping so we stopped by HomeGrown. My first time her third. When we arrived we were told 1 to 1.5 hour wait. We went ahead and got in queue. The bar seating is first come first serve so we watched for a spot to open. 30mins and 2 bar spots opened and as we headed to get seats at bar just as we started to get seated we were pageg for a table so we opted for the table instead of the bar. 36 mins we waited instead of the hour they estimated. She had the lemon ricotta pancakes and I went for the biscuits and gravy. Food was good and came out fast. Service was good. While it's not my favorite breakfast spot it was overall a good experience. I will be back."

"Came in around 9 pm to eat at the diner since it’s a mile from where I live. I ordered the man v food burger, and was excited to take on the challenge . Unfortunately, the challenge was being able to finish it because of how bad the burger tasted. Either the patties were old, boiled , something else because they had a distinct smell and rubbery texture. The “park sauce” was okay, and the “caramelized onions” were just raw onions mixed with the park sauce. The grill cheese bread that tops the double Pattie burgers were shameful. the top one had bacon , lettuce, and unmelted sliced cheese . The bottom bread was just two slices of bread stuck together with oil/grease. I had about three bites of this and had to call it quits. My girlfriend got a western burger with a turkey patty. She had to put hers down after getting halfway because she bit into something that “popped” and said something awfully pungent came out. We didn’t even try to look because we were both disgusted with the quality of the food. We asked for the check, quickly Paid the bill and left feeling sick. Went home and the food came right up for me. I’ve read the other reviews and was excited to try this spot. However, after tonight’s unfavorable dining experience, I will not be returning nor do I recommend this place."

"Delicious! I got strawberry lemonade, lemon French toast, with a lemon pop tart. Feeling lemons today evidently. Strawberry lemonade was AMAZING! Best I?ve had. They gave me one to go as well and I was thrilled! Lemon French toast was extremely good!The lemon sauce had a lot of lemon taste, which I don?t usually love, but you mix that with the vanilla bean sauce and it isperfect! The eggs on the side were cooked a perfect medium and the bacon was not great and too crispy. I would say do NOT getthe bacon make that yourself at home. Haven?t tried the other meats, but want to. The lemon pop tart was so unique. I would sayit was slightly too much pop tart for me, but would be great to share with another. It was yummy, but not anywhere near as goodas the French toast. I think the cinnamon pop tart would have been better personally, but who knows. Atmosphere and staff wasperfect for a nice brunch restaurant! Great Job!! Except for the bacon :"

"I really enjoyed the picturesque walk to the restaurant. The food was excellent, and the staff were exceptional! The sashimi was incredibly fresh. The buffet was consistently restocked, never left empty. The crab was served hot, and with an all-you-can-eat crab option, you can't go wrong! The desserts were delightful, offering a great variety to choose from. Thank you for the kamaaina discount. We look forward to coming back with family and friends."

"I just visited with my kids, and it was fantastic! The service was quick, and the food was delicious. I couldn't have asked for a better breakfast on the 4th of July. I ordered the avocado toast, and there was so much food that I could barely finish it. My kids enjoyed pancakes, sausage, and eggs, making it the perfect breakfast! As a coffee lover, I found the coffee to be an excellent blend for the morning. We will definitely be returning!"

"this is the best local spot to get boba, hands down. I have been coming here for over a year, and the owner is one of the kindest people on the monterey peninsula.There are so many pros to bobalicious, that the shop sets itself apart from other sports by a mile. The menu flavors are creative, versatile, and delicious. Seriously, there is something for everyone. Slushees, milk tea, regular tea, fruity drinks, ice cream, it DOES NOT END!!!You won’t get anything premade and tossed to you. It it made with authenticity. The owner always strikes up a good conversation, he makes me come back every time just to check in on how he’s doing. the drinks are just a plus. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.The personalization of each drink alone is enough. Asking sweetness level, to the color of the straw, you can tell he just cares. My whole life i’ve lived on this peninsula, this guy embodies spreading the love. it’s a can’t miss spot."
