"I called the restaurant Ana to make a reservation, and the gentleman on the phone asked how many people would be dining with us. We mentioned it would be two, and he assured us that it wouldn't be an issue and that we could just come in, as they would have a spot for us. However, when we arrived, the hostess informed us that a reservation was actually required. We explained our conversation with the staff member, but after consulting with the manager, we discovered that there were no tables available. The manager apologized, but that didn't suffice; the staff should not have directed us to come if there were no tables. Eventually, the manager suggested we could sit outside, which was something the hostess should have mentioned from the start. Overall, we were very disappointed with the experience."
