"I made a reservation for June, believing that since I booked through Open Table and confirmed via email the next day, everything was set for our dinner and birthday celebration. However, when we arrived that evening, we were informed that Grill was closed for a private event and that the kitchen wasn’t even open. Needless to say, we were very disappointed with the complete lack of communication from the restaurant, as they made no effort to inform me in advance about the private event, which would have allowed me to make alternative arrangements. Consequently, my party, which included elderly members, was left scrambling—complete with birthday cake, presents, and balloons—to find another restaurant that could accommodate us on short notice. This poor management is a poor reflection on Grill, and unfortunately, after this experience, we are in no rush to return."
