"Terrible, Petty, Unprofessional, Rude, Cheap, and Miserable. If I could give negative Stars, I would. I wouldn 't send my worst enemy to this place. They also run a satellite cafeteria in my office building at the Omni Building in Uniondale. The guy working behind the breakfast sandwhich counters is the embodiment of the word MISERABLE. He is so rude, you feel like you 're bothering him when you say Good morning, how are you? If you ask for a side of hot sauce forget about it he 'll slam the hot sauce on the counter afterwards. The old lady that works the register is probably the WORST part of this place. She disgusts me. I regularly come here and so do many of my colleagues, since it 's downstairs, on busy days it is convenient. One day I ordered a breakfast wrap $9.00 , which in general, has more wrap than egg protein. When i get to the register, I kindly mention to the register lady that I forgot to grab ketchup packets and that I would be grabbing them after paying for my wrap, and exiting through the entrance which is no uncommon . This lady then has the AUDACITY, to tell me not to take too much ketchup. Idk what to say at this point. I pause in amazement. Then i ask Why? and she goes on to tell me that last time i took way too much ketchup and that they yes THEYYY! are not ok with that and said something after seeing me. WHO ARE THEY?... The audacity to call me out and shame me on taking like 5 ketchup packets 1 WEEK PRIOR, when my office and the other offices in the building literally contribute thousands upon thousands of dollars annually to this business for terrible tasting food, the worst hours of operations and BURNT coffee. I am more than happy to pay even .25 cents per ketchup packet. Charge me. But to tell me that LAST TIME, i took too many ketchup packets. Are you serious? This is the worst business I have ever in 27 years on EARTH been to. This is one of many incidents that have occurred between the Stewart Ave location and the Omni cafeteria and my colleagues. Terrible people and less than mediocre food. If you are considering going here, please consider fasting instead."

"Even two years later, I’m still a huge fan of Aroma, despite living nowhere near the Valley. Just yesterday, I shared a meal with my sister-in-law Sabrina L. while visiting my adorable baby niece. Here's what we tried: First up was the Hummus and Ahi Tuna Shawarma. I’m particularly picky about hummus, as I love it rich with tahini, and Aroma consistently delivers. My sisters-in-law wanted to try the Ahi Tuna Shawarma, which turned out to be surprisingly good, though the tuna didn’t quite have the expected “ahi” texture. The flavor leaned more towards curry, and I felt the naming might have been misleading. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the dish, but I still prefer the simple hummus served with hard-boiled eggs or their eggplant hummus. The warmth of the fluffy pita served with their hummus plates is always a win. We also tried the grilled veggie sandwich, which came loaded with Portobello mushrooms, assorted vegetables, goat cheese, and pesto on roasted ciabatta. I really liked it; in fact, their sandwiches and bagel sandwiches never disappoint. They come in generous portions, always served with fresh salads. Another highlight was the Jachnun, a traditional Jewish baked dish made from rolled dough. I was surprised to find it available on a Sunday, as it’s typically eaten on Saturdays. As soon as I cut into it, I noticed the layered dough. It had a chewy texture reminiscent of the Burmese parantha I enjoyed in childhood. I could tell this dish was labor-intensive, which added to its appeal. While my sister-in-law didn’t seem to notice, it brought back fond memories for me. For dessert, we had chocolate souffle topped with fresh cream and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This was executed beautifully, with a light crust revealing a creamy chocolate center. We left with plenty of leftovers, as we were in the mood for a taste test. Here’s what I've enjoyed in the past: Sea Bass Skewers with couscous (delicious!), tahini-drenched eggplants (also delicious), herb-crusted salmon salad (delicious), Mango Pecan Salad (delicious), Portobello Panini (delicious), Margherita Pizza (pretty good), and a creamy Tilapia that was a winner we shared happily. One of my all-time favorites has to be the ravioli with sun-dried tomatoes and goat cheese sauce—seriously decadent! The only dish I didn’t care for was the Greek dish; perhaps if it came with hummus like the falafel, it would’ve tasted better. All the ingredients were super fresh, as they always are, which I can’t complain about despite my personal preference. Unfortunately, they don’t take reservations, and there’s often a wait, but I never mind—I'm always engaged in conversation with those I'm dining with. Parking is $3 if there’s no metered street parking available, but I usually go late when there are plenty of free spots. I prefer the covered terrace area, though it can get a bit smoky. The atmosphere has a distinct European café vibe—much more than their location on Sunset Blvd, which I also enjoy, but I favor this Encino spot. Kudos to them for having high chairs for babies, although I wouldn’t recommend bringing small children in the evenings. In short, Aroma is my go-to place in the Valley. I absolutely love this place!"

"Would give zero stars if it was an option. ordered off of door dash ,45 minutes waiting for the place to confirm my order, never a confirmation but the money sure was taken out. called this place over 9 times every call rung out and sent to voicemail. what type of business has no one picking up the phone. i took it into my hands to walk in and see maybe they were having difficulty with door dash and could still make my food seeming i had proof door dash took money out of my account. why couldn’t this business Call door dash in the morning and say we are having difficulty please don’t let our customers order online today we will not be able to view any purchase details. no. they just leave it up for people to order and get robbed. i go in get completely ignored all while on my lunch at work. He completely ignores me and says door dash is down i can get in line and re order. WHY would i pay twice???? still waiting for my refund from door dash . the man who spoke to me completely ignored me very rude. they deserve to be short staffed . any other business would have seen the money taken out and just made the food knowing once they actually call door dash it will be resolved. horrible customer service. You shouldn’t have any online food services when you cant even handle the crowd of your walk ins. a sign on the door said something about short staffed which is understandable but there were over 10 people behind the counter more than ive seen there on different days when i got better service. its common sense- door dash , grub hub , uber eats if its not working for you CALL so your customers arent losing money paying for a service they are NOT receiving. door dash said 14 minute …LOL horrible experience and i told door dash as well they said its definitely not the first negative review.AGAIN i repeat i said the man told me Door dash was down for that day and continued to ignore me after he said i can re order. NO COMMENT at all about the fact that i called 9 times and not a single person picked up???? oh ok IF you look down and scroll you can see all the negative reviews of dissatisfied customers so?? i’m not sure where your pulling your facts from.reviews from Isabella , Marissa, Agnes? those are satisfied customers? give me a break. i’m not the only one who felt that way a man made a remark to me in passing as he was leaving this place and also heard your workers tell a door dash driver they’re down today."
