Great service and fun environment!!!But, They need better chefs, with more than 1 cooking style, that know how to NOT over cook all the meats they offer.ALL the dishes taste very similar! All with a seared burn marks on "which ever" meat, mixed with similar seasoning and all WELL DONE to OVER DONE cook-ness. The seared burn-ness, like a fajitas, but for every dish?? This is the second time I had to go here with the same results... Im refusing if I get invited next time... Perhaps go for drinks cause the vibe is good and fun... they just need better chefs..."

"After our Bible study, our group decided to have dinner at Wockano. The food was delicious and we loved the restaurant's ambiance. However, it was our server, Lauren, who truly made our evening unforgettable. Lauren was not only friendly and professional, but she also went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was exceptional. She anticipated our needs, exceeded our expectations, and showed genuine interest in our satisfaction. Thanks to Lauren, we will definitely be returning to Wockano in the future. We made sure to express our gratitude to her, and she even made sure that the manager honored a $10 discount for each of us, making our experience even more special."

"The salsa is amazing at this restaurant! The service is great and the environment is fun. However, they could use better cooks who can prepare a variety of dishes without overcooking the meat. All the dishes taste very similar, with burnt marks on the meat and similar spices, making everything well done. It's like a cremation for every dish, similar to fajitas. This is the second time I have had this experience here, so I may not return next time I am invited. Maybe just have a drink for the good atmosphere. Overall, the restaurant just needs better cooks."

"My wife and I wanted a nice laid-back place to sit outside and enjoy a fun dinner. We ended up being very disappointed by the service. Our server took about 10-15 minutes to get to the table (which feels like an eternity when you are waiting to order beverages). They took our drink order and quickly returned with a cocktail and waters but the beer we ordered was delayed by a few minutes. Not a big deal, but then the night went south. We didn't see our server again for a very long time. We started to feel like our appetizer was a little delayed when food runners showed up with our entrees. No app in sight. We let them know and eventually the server brought our app. But we were halfway into the meal by that point. The food tasted fine. Nothing extraordinary but not bad. The nachos, I admit, were delicious. The mac and cheese we ordered was described to have bread crumbs but was missing that. Fortunately the server had it taken care of pretty quickly. We were never asked about having our drinks refilled. And after eating, we waited a long time for our check. It just seemed to take forever for everything. None of the problems by themselves would have been a big deal, but together it added up to a somewhat unpleasant experience. The server was nice and apologetic. They also comped us the appetizer which was nice. May have been an off night or maybe a new server, but I can't say I would recommend going on a Saturday night. Also, we did enjoy the outdoor seating area. It was a little tight, but the ambiance was nice."

"The dining experience was quite disappointing. The only highlight was the fried dumplings, which were enjoyable. However, the tempura vegetables were poorly prepared, with the asparagus being overly tough and unchewable, and the green beans were raw and crunchy. I couldn't even bite into the pumpkin. The chicken mixture in the salad had odd hard bits that could have been cartilage, and overall it lacked flavor, tasting mostly of salt. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. We ended up going back to the hotel to grab an ice cream because we were still hungry."

"Restaurant was mostly empty on a Saturday night. Even though it was not busy we literally never heard from our waitress again after ordering the app and drinks. Another person who was clearing the table took our order about 15 minutes after all the apps and drinks where gone. Our dinner lasted two hours and we had one beer. The food is ok, but way overpriced considering bad service, no music, and pretty generic mall ambiance. Definitely one of the worst overall values and nights out we've had in a long time."

"The restaurant hides the food and requires you to place your order first, which seems like a tactic to take your money. I ordered a large bowl but received the portions of a small one. When I requested double the veggie portions, they claimed they did, but it was clearly not the case. The seafood portions were also quite small. I asked for more vegetables, and they refused. The staff was very rude. I can't believe I paid $16 for this! I think I'll stick with the poke bar instead."

"He started dining here under the name "Island." It was a simple place with no particular ambiance, but the food was good, and the personal service from his pregnant wife made it special. What a transformation it has undergone! The restaurant is now much more appreciated, evolving into a stylish chain that offers wonderful and enjoyable food. The sushi menu is diverse, and the atmosphere has become quite pleasant. Although Mike's brother is now at the helm, the quality and portion sizes remain unchanged. I highly recommend trying everything on the menu—everything is excellent!"
