"We went on a referral for a Reuben sandwich. Three sizes and the medium was a nice size. I had the southwestern chicken salad. So massive, I took home rest for supper. A beautiful feast. Clean and a nice crowd. Lots of parking and room for wheelchairs. Not sure on restroom as did not visit it. Very hard worker staff. Full liquor bar. Parking: Close to the entrance, so a short walk. Kid-friendliness: Booths for containing small ones. Relaxed place."

"We enjoyed the guacamole and salsa. The medium guacamole and it was fairly spicy. Each person ordered a different kind of enchiladas and tacos and then we traded around so that everyone could try several kinds. We were severed quickly which would be good for people who have an evening engagement. Our only complaint was that it was quick noisy which made it difficult to hear each other at our table."

"After giving us only the options of 7:15 or 7:45, not 7:30 as we wanted. When we arrived for our 7:15 reservation they kept us waiting half an hour. Although they were apologetic, they did not offer us a free after dinner coffee or any other sort of tangible apology. That kind of service does not encourage a return visit. The rest of the service was good, other than the waiter trying to suggest the Dom Perignon Champagne for $350 (he didn't tell us the price)."

"I'm not sure if there has been a change in management, but the food was awful. We had dinner there last year and everything was fantastic - the food, the service, everything. However, this time the food was terrible. We won't be returning to this restaurant again. Instead, we'll give the one by the Grand Parkway a try and hopefully have a better experience."

We ordered a vegan pizza and a couple of vegan sandwiches made with fake meat, and enjoyed the meal once it arrived. The food was decent but not exceptional, more like standard pub fare. The service was fine, nothing special. We were aware of the extra charge for vegan items, but were surprised by the high upcharges of $3.99 per sandwich and $6.99 for the pizza. The prices were already high, and adding on these extra costs felt excessive. Paying $13 for a sandwich and fries or $26 for a pizza felt unreasonable, especially when there are better dining options nearby that offer better value for your money."

"The salad portions and toppings are quite generous. If you order takeout salads, make sure you have enough dressing, as it varies depending on who is working—sometimes the dressing cups are only filled to a quarter. "The hostess didn't check OpenTable from the moment we made our reservation until we arrived 30 minutes later. She seemed surprised when we showed up, expecting a table at our reserved time. She mentioned some nonsense about how OpenTable doesn’t guarantee a reservation. We explained that the purpose of OpenTable is to secure a reservation in real time without needing to call the restaurant, and that it shouldn't show available times if those reservations aren't actually honored. The manager also didn’t seem to have much common sense. Their Yelp page claims they are "good for kids," but we got the impression that they didn't want us there with our children. We noticed several open tables that they could have used to accommodate us, but they clearly chose not to. We decided to leave and try another restaurant. I will never return to this place, with or without my kids."

"I had a fantastic meal! The Harvest Chicken Salad (which includes pecans) on a croissant was one of the best I've ever tasted. "I just ate at Mcalisters in Grenada. I ordered a BLT and nachos. The sandwich was pathetic. It was the most pitiful sandwich I have ever seen. Spent 9$ for it . 2 pieces of white bread microwaved bacon. Forgot the Alvacadoand when I asked for some it was dark almost black in color. "Whenever I travel to Midwest I always enjoy eating at McAlister's Deli. They have a delicious Harvest Chicken Salad Sandwich. Another favorite of mine is the Pecan Cranberry Salad. "I had two frustrating experiences at this location. On December 26, I called to confirm their closing time and was informed by Brittany that they would be open until 10:00 PM. We drove for 20 minutes and arrived at 9:34 PM, only to find out they had decided to close early. Then, on December 30, I placed my usual to-go order. We were told that we couldn’t order that combination, which was surprising. My husband asked the server to verify with someone else because we always order it. The order went through, but when we checked, it was missing three items that we had already paid for! Luckily, we caught the mistake before heading all the way home."

"I had dinner around 7:15, and while the cashier who took our order was friendly, there was a man in the kitchen wearing a polo shirt who seemed to be in management. He made inappropriate comments about women, using suggestive language, which was quite off-putting. I couldn't tell who he was referring to, but it was definitely unappealing. While we were waiting for our food, the kitchen staff were loud and seemed to be throwing food at each other. We also overheard them discussing someone resigning. Although the food itself was good, the overall atmosphere left much to be desired."

"I frequently get the savannah salad because it is really good. Even though it cost me 14.00+ dollars it is usually worth it, today when I got home and opened the box up I knew immediately the lettuce was bad, not just one kind but all the different types of lettuce were wilted and brown, nothing was crisp and fresh. "Really a 2.5 but the atmosphere is cool enough so we 'll round up. Place is just ok. My service was fine. Food was less stellar. Like so many other reviews have mentioned, it not much for the price. Don 't expect to get a sizable portion at all. I 'm sure there is a Lincoln Square surcharge here because the prices just don 't add up. The chicken pot pie (pictured) is rather basic. Mine was hot and not just warm tho. It was smallish and taste wise, it was... Fine. The scallops was ordered by someone else at the table and that was a little better but quiet underwhelming as far as amount and still just fine on the taste-o-meter. Somebody else had the BBQ burger with fries. Fries weren 't bad tho. This IS NOT a place you come out the way to. You just might even consider passing this place up leaving out of a show at Lincoln Square to be honest. But if you came, you won 't be impressed and probably not let down but there is a possibility you could be."
