"we arrived on time and we sat right away. the waitress took our drinks orders offered free beer or wine. we ordered our dinners and then gave wonderful hot from the many garlic knot. our salate came next. mixed green with gurken twill and tomato. the tomats were diceed. I liked that personally. with house made balsamico and olive oil dressing. the dinner came out at once. for 5 I was impressed. everything was served. It's not that good now. the plates seemed salty. sandwiches no problem, but the chicken parm and the aubergine and artichoke peim were. we ate it too much salt for my taste. other nice touch was that my sonny birthday I let her know in advance and they were able to buy a cake for me. it was very good. we will be back, this is our way to italy, the pizza is from this world."

"I ordered a burger topped with Brie, bacon, and jalapeño jam, accompanied by a side of fries. The burger was delicious, served hot with gooey melted Brie and generous bacon. However, I found the jalapeño jam to be a bit overly sweet, lacking the expected heat from the jalapeños. The fries, on the other hand, were crispy and delightful. The place had a good number of regulars, which speaks to the quality of the food. Sabrina was fantastic and highly attentive throughout my visit. Here’s how I would rate my experience: a good burger earns +1 star; crispy fries add another +1 star; the friendly staff brings in yet another +1 star; my drink was refilled without me having to ask, which gives an extra +1 star; and the cool interior design adds one more +1 star. With their punch card system, I'll definitely be back, especially since 10 punches gets me a free lunch!"

"Spacious venue featuring a dock, a playground for kids, and a terrace. The food is delicious and overall, it's a pretty decent place. On two separate occasions, we stayed past closing time, and we were pleasantly surprised by their meticulous approach to cleaning. They used a flashlight to check for dust on the floors and thoroughly cleaned the numerous large windows, which I don't recall seeing done with such care in any other restaurant. Additionally, Donna was the kindest person we encountered throughout our trip in Alabama. We had guests with allergies at our table, and she handled the situation with great seriousness. Thank you, Donna!"

"This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to! I absolutely love it. They offer a diverse menu and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. On Fridays, there's live music, and they have a bar both inside and outside. The food is exquisite, and if you're Puerto Rican and craving pizza, you should definitely ask for their Calzon – it’s the closest you'll get to the pizzas from our island. I highly recommend this place! P.S. Be sure to ask for Flora; she provides the best service!"

"The overall experience was great. The quality of food and quantity of food was tremendous. The meats turkey, prime rib, pulled pork, and ribs were smoked perfectly. The sides were top of the line quality, high end and tasty. .mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese gourmet, a really delightful parfait bar with juicy sweet raspberries,blueberries, bananas, strawberries and homeade granola. The dinner rolls were tasty and fresh. The hot foods were hot. The cold foods cold just the way we love our foods) Also, they have blackberry ice tea and lemonades with various fruit blends. The dining experience was awesome. The building is so unique... comfortable and clean. The wait staff is friendly, kind, attentive and helpful. The owner came to our table he was friendly and told his story. Great experience....and will visit again"

"I had a pleasant experience at the restaurant with good coffee, corned beef hash, and delicious French toast. However, the tortilla breakfast sandwich was overcooked and not worth recommending. The girls sitting next to us ordered breakfast sandwiches on focaccia and mentioned they were much better. Overall, I would return, as the service was excellent."

"I ordered takeout: the Luau Pizza (without red peppers) and their hush puppies with pimento cheese. The girl who took my order mentioned that those were her favorite items on the menu, so my hopes were high. When I got back to my RV and opened the pizza, I was disappointed. It didn't look appealing, and when I took a bite, there was no hint of coconut flavor. The hush puppies were ice cold! I contemplated going back to let them know, but I figured I would have to heat them up anyway at my RV park, so I thought it wasn’t worth it. I'm sure they would have been delicious if they were hot and crispy. I didn't voice my concerns about the pizza at that moment either—it was edible, just not what I'd hoped for. On a positive note, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff was friendly. If I'm ever in the area again, I would consider returning to try their pulled pork or other BBQ dishes, and I would opt to dine in rather than get takeout."
