"I made a reservation through OpenTable for 9:30 a.m. on a Sunday. After driving from Logan Airport in Boston to Newport, Rhode Island, I was looking forward to a meal since I hadn’t eaten since breakfast. However, when I arrived at the restaurant, the doors were locked, and I noticed a group of staff members having a party at one of the tables in the center of the restaurant. All the lights were on, and the televisions were playing, but the doors remained closed. No one answered when I knocked, and my calls went unanswered as well. It’s unacceptable for a restaurant to accept reservations when it’s not actually open. This experience was extremely inconvenient and raised security concerns. Overall, it was the worst experience I’ve ever had using OpenTable."
