"for Saturday brunch. it was almost empty. there was no one on the Hostess stand, so we went around to decide where we could see our game on tw. not yet approached by anyone, we went into the bar to see if we are served. the hostess was new and did not know how to check in on the open table. not her fault, but she should have helped her. we sat without menus. we saw a QR code on another table, so we used it. it took another one to take over our order. eating was decent and hot. the drinks were good. I have two complaints. the lack of service in an almost empty restaurant and the venue fee added on our register card. what was that? is there a cover fee for brunch? there was no explanation. we just paid and left. probably not back."

"Ordered a meatball grinder, roasted grinder and a large cheese pizza....not really happy with any of it. Meatball grinder soaked with sauce on the bottom and we asked for no sauce except what was on the meatballs themselves. They toasted the roast beef grinder and we didnt ask them to, so that ruined it for me. And our cheese pizza had very little cheese and they cooked it way too long...mozz cheese is white not yellow burnt! And again asked for light sauce and that's all you taste. Probably wont be back here."

"We went to Mash’d for brunch with our local friends when we were in town and loved it!! 3 out of the 4 of us had the avocado toast, which is basically heaven. The gents loved the **** Mary’s and I thought the French Press coffee was exceptional! The high top tables are small for 4 people if anyone has any coffee and creamers (like we did), and the creamer and sugars could have been removed sooner by the wait staff to make more room. Otherwise, it was awesome (again), and we will definitely be returning next time we’re in town!"

"We had some problems with our waiter understanding our order (more specifically our kids' order. We didn't complain, but we did make them aware of the errors. The manager came to the table and more than made up for the errors. The food was fabulous. The atmosphere lacks a bit to be desired."

"Our server was less than friendly. She was in a hurry, tried to run off each time before we were done ordering, never checked on us- not even once. Had to flag her down each time and still she rushed and it was not that busy. It was busy, but not crazy. We are frequent flyers for brunch and we’ve had her before and she was great. But not this time. It was by far terrible service and super sad as it reminds us why we don’t come for dinner usually. She just was not interested in us a bit but was laughing and took her time with other tables so I’m not sure what it was. I was excited to have her again and then womp womp. We were more than friendly with her. I didn’t even want to tip her it was that bad but as a fellow server felt obligated."

"We tried the biscuits with gravy and the honey chicken strips with biscuits, both of which were delicious. The biscuits had a nice, airy chewiness and were very tasty. The chicken strips were hearty in size, tender, and well-seasoned. The strawberry cream French toast was heavenly, while the crispy bacon was flavorful, though half of it ended up being soggy. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait about 40 minutes, but it was worth it. The place is family-friendly, but keep in mind that it’s a bar/restaurant, and there are some words on the walls that you might not want your kids to hear. I'm sure they can find a sweet drink or tasty treat to keep them occupied."

"I loved the atmosphere of this restaurant. It was great being able to watch the open kitchen and see the wood fired oven in action. The pizza had a delicious thin and crispy crust. The salad was a bit overdressed, but overall, it was a fantastic experience."

"Love the Lokal Dac Biet Banh Mi (Old Skool) and their milk tea with boba. They always hit the spot! Everything is super consistent and tasty. Their milk tea boba is actually just as good as a boba shop. I got less sweet and less ice — it was perfect. There are two types of Dac biet you can get, one has more toppings like pork floss and more meat while the other is a more basic Dac biet. Read the description before you order to make sure you get the one you want. Chicken is also good. They have other food items too like sandwiches and pancakes. I just haven’t checked them out because I always get the banh mi — and honestly I don’t think I will. Nothing wrong on their part but the banh mi is too good and always exactly what I want.Most of the banh mi comes with mayo, pate, or both. They’re not always listed out when you’re ordering from an app. They allow modifications so just make sure you let them know somehow (either denote it or write it out in the online order text box)."
