"Amazing food. Creative chef. My companion and I had a 5:30 reservation. She started with a Dewars on the rocks; I had the LIFE IS GOOD, gin, elderflower and prosecco. Next we had the beet salad and fried green tomatoes. The latter was out of this world. Tomatoes thick cut with a crust very slightly sweet. Yummy! I had the chicken saltimboca; she had the breaded flounder with potato fingerlings. The chicken was excellent. I'd order it again. The flounder was truly remarkable. I couldn't figure out the secret ingredient. I thought it might be cardamom. Had to ask the chef. It was Pernod liqueur. Subtle, not too much licorice, but definitely a flavor sensation that augmented but didn't dominate. My KUDOS to Chef and his staff!"
