"The restaurant is operated by a sole proprietor. When we arrived, he inquired if we had a reservation, but the place was mostly empty aside from a group of four. I mentioned we could wait, but that ended up being our first mistake as we were told it would be about half an hour. There was no waitress—only the owner, Jimmy. I tried to be understanding given he had no staff to assist him. The menu indicated that soup or salad was included, but when we asked about it, Jimmy informed us it would cost an additional two dollars. He also mentioned that he could only cook a limited number of shrimp at a time due to his small deep fryer. Consequently, he advised us that our dishes would be served five minutes apart. The food was decent but certainly didn't live up to his claims. It was also unusual that Jimmy stepped outside frequently for a smoke. Overall, it was a peculiar experience, and we won’t be returning."
