"On my second visit, I ordered the same bowls, but the employee informed me that they were out of pitaya. He explained that there was a shortage that affected other places in the area as well. However, I found it curious that the next morning I stopped by Kitchen Kabaret and they had no shortage of pitaya at all.
My third visit involved two more açaí bowls. I specifically requested peanut butter to be added. Typically, I would be asked whether I wanted pbfit or regular peanut butter, but instead, the employee added pbfit without confirming and, when I questioned it, he seemed completely dazed and said they were out of regular peanut butter, as if assuming I wouldn’t mind. His demeanor was cold and almost out of touch.
As for the bowls themselves, they were icy, like I was eating sorbet, and the granola was somewhat stale, leaving a strange aftertaste. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, especially given the abundance of better options nearby. The only decent items they offer are the shakes, but at $8, I suggest heading to Equinox Café, Marles, or Gemelli’s for far better value and quality."
