"We had an 8pm reservation for date night, were promptly seated, and then ignored for over 30 minutes. We had to ask a busser if we had a server. We asked our server for a wine list and were told that there wasn't a wine list. There was clearly a wine list, in fact we saw many tables around us being served bottles of wine. We finally gave up and asked for glasses of wine and ordered food. The cod was good, the beef bolognese was bad.I'd like to give Avenue the benefit of doubt and assume they were just busy, but I can't get over the fact that the manager was constantly checking on tables around us and never once looked at us or tried tp help us with our situation. At the moment, I an 50/50 on whether they were too busy to help us, or just didn't appreciate our business for some reason. We will not be going back."
