"Overhyped. You could make better food at home.I ordered a chicken quesadilla because on the menu it sounded superb. Pesto, pico de gallo, bean blend… mmm… you know, a step above what I could make at home. What I got was primarily bacon and cheese, with a couple loose beans and chunky chicken, almost like a spiedie/bacon quesadilla, like something my dad would make to watch football lol. Slightest hint of pesto on 2 bites. I wanted so much more than that. The flavor profile was not at all like was advertised. The kicker is the chef prepared burnt tortilla chips on the side. Absolutely crispy black chips. I was appalled, after waiting over 30 minutes for this meal. The plate smelled so bad. I felt bad for the 2 young people working there with a packed bistro. They were dropping off these dishes and walking quickly away to another task without checking it out. So I did not complain, they were overwhelmed. And I looked around at the food on other tables, and they were similar looking. Yikes. Did not take the to-go box when offered. First time for that lol. Still tipped them well, walked past the bloke in the kitchen mid-wrapping a greasy looking tortilla wrap, and left out the back door into the parking lot, bursting into laughter with my company. I made myself tastier food when I got home. This place is totally overhyped, claims to have these naturalist/ithaca vibes, but cannot deliver in the slightest. 2 stars on the food is generous considering the burnt chips. Like, who are you to serve that?? Lol we are still making jokes about it days later. Oh well, you live and you learn. I will not be returning and will discourage family from going there when it comes up in conversation.Overhyped.Not overhyped in town is the French bakery on the south side next to the kfc/tacobell. Go there instead for lunch. For dinner, go anywhere else but here ?"
