"We went there to celebrate my birthday, but I think it was close to the restaurant closing. They shouldn’t let you make reservations if everybody is going to rush you to get out of there. The food was not good at all. My scallops seemed watery and rubbery, and we served on a giant plate with five or six scallops, and that’s it. The rest of the plate was blank. My sister also did not enjoy her entrée which was the airline chicken. The drinks were OK and I ordered the chocolate olive oil cake for my birthday dessert and it was just way too dense and dry. The ambience is beautiful. I’m glad I got the opportunity to go there, but we won’t go back. We told our server that we didn’t like the food and she could clearly tell we didn’t eat it but just said sorry but nothing was comped or anything."

"amanda was excellent. it was a warm november night with an almost full moon. is everything, so we sat outside on the terrace, which was much quieter. inside is super loud. we had the thun-fish and the garnel and grits. I was prepared for the red sauce, but the grisen surprised me. my mistake not to read the description better, but it was more like a grit cake and there was not much to go with the sauce. the garnels were plentiful."

"The experience we had on Wednesday night was horrible. We only saw one server running around to please our large party, I would've expected to have at least two servers to take care of us. Caroline started really sweet in the beginning of our dinning experience, however by the middle to the end of it she was rushing and kept disappearing. We come here once in a while and the service is outstanding but this time our server gave us poor service I would not recommend her. Overall she had somewhat knowledge of the menu. A manager never came to check on us. We called the same day to speak with a manager but had to call multiple times for someone to answer the phone."

"We had a week on GI and wanted to experience some delicious seafood on a modest budget. BLVD met our expectations. Service was outstanding from the moment we arrived. Happy Hour offered special pours for $6. My spouse’ seafood sampler delivered perfectly prepared redfish and oysters Rockefeller with green beans and grits; my shrimp and grits were luscious, with spears of asparagus and grilled bread. Added appetizer and side salad, and still got out for $100. Make a reservation today."

"Where do I begin ! This is most certainly a new local favorite. Went for a date night out and I absolutely loved this place. Friendly staff and adjacent to the IPIC theater. I was able to partake in happy hour while waiting for my other party to arrive? $7 margaritas!!! Can?t beat it?and it was actually strong and tasty! We ended up being seated and our server Brandy was amazing, knowledgeable and very untuned with their extensive options. She was patience as well my date wasn?t too sure of what to get but Brandy helped us with offering some really good choices! We started with cocktails YUM! A Rum Punch and El Corazon both were very tasty and moving on to those delectable lemon pepper wings and cornbread ! Our entrees includes shrimp ?n? grits and the cavatappi spinach!!!! All were spectacular! I will absolutely be returning to try more of the menu !"

"My wife and I celebrated our 21st anniversary this last Saturday with dinner at Belliniâs and later a movie (Top Gun-great movie). Our meals were outstanding and our server, Jeff, was awesome! Loved our salad and we ordered chargrilled shrimp as a side. Delicious! My shrimp scampi and my wifeâs chicken piccata were superb! The portions were quite generous and we could not finish it all. We also ordered sausage pizza to take home, and it was delicious. We shared Belliniâs signature bread pudding for dessert, which was absolutely yummy and quite filling. Such a lovely dinner (made extra special by Jeff). We LOVE Belliniâs, have been eating there for years, and have always enjoyed our dining experiences at this reasonably-priced, fabulous Italian restaurant. We recommend it highly."

"We visited the Los Alamitos location this trip for late lunch, early dinner. My husband got an All American Beach Melt. It was a full pound cheeseburger on grilled Parmesan Sour Dough. He was delightfully overwhelmed! I decided to try the prime rib dinner because the prime rib dip is out of this world! I was extremely disappointed! The meat was cold and flavorless. The aujus again had no flavor. The creamy horseradish could have been sour cream, and it has absolutely no flavor at all, no zing.Our waitress was sweet but disappointing. All of our food came to the table at the same time. Our appetizer actually arrived after our entree plates. Our waitress did a vanishing act. She did not once return to the table. Our water and tea cups sat empty throughout our meal. Other servers took care of the tables to our right, and to our left, we remained completely ignored. After finishing our meals, we sat for about 15 20 minutes with my husband, trying to get anyone to pay attention to even our empty glasses. Finally, it appeared to be someone in management who asked if we were waiting for boxes. My husband told her we 'd like a check AND boxes so we can leave.She brought our check and 3 boxes, no questions or comments.My husband paid in cash, and she said, I 'll see you next time. He commented. There won 't be a next time. We enjoy the Foothill Ranch location, a much friendlier environment. Today 's lesson learned is that it was not a good idea to order steak at a sandwich shop."

"This used to be one of my favorite spots but the food has really declined in quality (and last night was the thirds and final time in the last year or so that I’ve noticed). I’m disappointed. The gumbo was watery, the oysters were small and gritty (sometimes that can’t be helped, but they were pretty unappealing), and the fish and chips were soggy. I was actually a little bit embarrassed to have recommended this place to friends who joined me and had never been before. One of my friends who had eaten very little that day and was starving ordered the shrimp and grits from the restaurant week menu. It was a tiny portion with three shrimp that looked over cooked. I shared my fries with her because she was still hungry. Ridiculous for $40. Sadly I won’t be back. The service was very good though."

"It had the potential for a nice night. Reservation for 7 PM. We arrived an hour early for drinks at the bar before sitting in the dining room. Bar service was excellent. When they sat us, they sat us at a bar booth. It seems they sold out the dining room on Friday night! So no ambiance: we went from the bar to the bar. Not the reservation I made. We should have been told. No one knew the oyster selection. We asked for a briny and received an earthy oyster. We ordered the marrow which was very good. For the main, I had the ribeye and my wife have the Himalayan salt block filet. The sat block was salty and the filet quality though meager. They brought the ribeye blue though I ordered med rare; luckily, I prefer prime beef blue. Unfortunately it was the strip end of the rib loin. It had tough tendons throughout it that could not be cut. The server was fine. We will give the restaurant one more try, but it did not meet our expectations."

"Wonderful dinner. Early reservation was simple and even sat early as the staff came out to see if we were their booking. Zin bites,a favorite, did not disappoint. Sauce is delicious. Short rib entree was so tender and flavorful. Partner had chicken schnitzel and serving allowed a second meal next day. Lemon blueberry cake as special dessert was delicious without being too heavy. Service was impeccable and attentive. Patio is always a good bet even when 100+ degrees."

Our group of four ordered a variety of dishes, but unfortunately, two of the steaks were overcooked, one was acceptable, the scallops were unevenly cooked, and the lobster tail was overcooked and tough. Given the prices, I was hoping for a better experience. While the staff was friendly and the facilities were clean, there are definitely better dining options in the area for the same price."

"We had a two for one deal on servers tonight!!! Holly and Kat were so awesome! Training is always fun to be part of for us. It tends to lead to some random entertainment that was NOT intentional but makes for a night of belly laughs and great memories. We were here for magical dining, and everything we got was so amazing! I had the meatballs, pork chop, and cheesecake. Mywife went for the shrimp, prime rib, and key lime. She also tried their new key lime martini. No complaints from us on any ofit! I really would love the recipe for those meatballs, and she is excited to have a new drink for me to figure out for her. Ipersonally thought the drink was not as creamy as I was expecting, but she loved it. She smartly requested the buffalo sauce onthe side with her shrimp, because she doesn’t care for food that’s too spicy. It was good, but just a bit spicier than shecould have handled. All in all, this was a huge hit for us. We did see a woman making her rounds from table to table askingabout their food, but she must be friends with those people or something because she passed us right up and went to the nexttable to talk to them. Seemed friendly enough, and we joked about it after deciding that these tables must be regulars orfriends and she was just being social."

"I've been visiting Rails Steakhouse for years and recently stopped in for a friend's birthday dinner on a Saturday evening at 8:30pm. The restaurant was packed and the vibe was great. There are three levels to this romantic steakhouse nestled in Towaco just next door to the train station. Keep in mind, on the weekends, they usually have complimentary valet service, which is nice. Upon entry, you're greeted by their friendly hostess and the main level of the restaurant, with a bar on the side. The upstairs level is another dining area with bar and that's where we were seated. The lower level of this restaurant and their speakeasy, Thirty3, is the best part part about this place; check out my review on this MUST visit well kept secret in NJ. Our party of 12 ordered some drinks by the bar while we waited for our table. We were then seated and promptly brought over menus. The general manager Mike, came over to greet us and apologized for the long wait and as a courtesy offered us complimentary pizzas. I thought this was a nice touch, and made us all feel valued as guests. Our server was equally as accommodating and patient with our entire party, offering his recommendations and thoughts on the menu items. None of which disappointed. I ordered a bottle of wine which wasn't terribly priced and quite delicious as it paired nicely with the lamb chops that I ordered for dinner. Everyone else at the table seemed very pleased with their entrees as there was a moment of complete silence as everyone enjoyed their meal LOL...(usually a good sign). At the end of the meal, the staff came out with assorted desserts and sang well wishes to the birthday boy. Overall, if you are looking for a dining option for a special occasion, date night or a delicious meal, Rails Steakhouse is a MUST try. Conveniently located with good service, romantic vibe and delicious bites, you won't be disappointed. Tip: If you have time to kill before or after your dinner, please don't miss out on visiting their cozy speakeasy, Thirty3, on the ground level, thank me later!!!"

"Had a very enjoyable dining experience last evening at Porter?s Steakhouse. Denise was our server for our party of six and we could not have asked for a better server. She was very attentive to our needs but not at all intrusive. Regarding the food, theblackened shrimp and lamb lollipop appetizers were amazing. The lobster bisque and wedge salad were wonderful, and the the filetOscar, salmon and mushroom orzo, bone-in chicken breast, and pepperloin steak entrees were to die for. For dessert, we all splitnice size pieces of carrot cake and chocolate cake. Thank you Porter?s Steakhouse ? and Denise in particular ? for such awonderful dining experience. The evening could not have gone better. We will definitely be back!"

"Except for the best-I 've-Ever-Had chocolate cake, I didn 't care for the food. The birthday girl, who always chooses Paul Martin 's, loved it, however, and that 's what counted. We both had the same thing: fish tacos, one salmon and one shrimp. Because we each chose the combo instead of all shrimp or all salmon, we were charged an extra $2 each. She had french fries as her side while I had green beans; both costing an extra $2 for the upgrade. the extra charge, in my opinion was insulting and out of line. Besides, our food was cold. One other diner said her pasta primavera was very good, but the fourth diner, who had the crab cake, said nothing. The outdoor setting, in spite of the traffic noise, was lovely. I 've been to Paul Martin 's several times with my birthday friend, but I would never choose it. Well, maybe just for the cake and a cup of coffee. I don 't know how they ever get the ratings they do."

I booked a table for two, which was supposedly the "only available time slot" according to the app. When I tried to change the reservation to four people, the app indicated that there were no tables available. However, upon arriving at the restaurant, we noticed that many tables were empty and stayed that way throughout our visit. When I asked the hostess about this, she informed me that any modifications needed to be made by phone."

"We visited the restaurant with a group of 16 people on Saturday night. It wasn't too crowded, so they were able to seat us easily. We were provided with two waitresses to assist us, one for each table. The waitress at our table was friendly and attentive."
