"Ordinary in disguise. My wife and I have been to 2 of the different dressler locations and have not been impressed with either. Sure, the branding is great. The atmosphere isn’t bad. But the food is just far too ordinary. We met in-laws for birthday dinner at the birkdale location. Super nice FOH, waitress was fantastic and attentive. Started with the charcuterie board for the table and Parmesan risotto for our 2.5 year old and ordered wines- which the wine list wasn’t bad either. Risotto was made for a child, even though we confirmed it was made like it typically was. Woefully under-seasoned, slightly crunchy and dry. Not a good risotto at all but hey, my toddler ate it. Charcuterie board was home chef level- basic at best. Maybe 5 saltines on the side of some brown mustard and 3 salamis with cheese chunks. Would not recommend. I ordered the NY strip and wife ordered the Mahi dishes. Had to send back the NY strip as it was charred and acrid even if the center was pink, signs of a grill that is far too hot and a kitchen that rushes. It was unpalatable and I ordered it medium-rare. Opted for the crab cakes instead which were actually fantastic! Potatoes on the side for both were chewy and lacked depth of flavor, average at best. Didn’t have dessert as we had spent enough without a real return on value. Won’t be returning unless it’s for beers and crab cakes at the bar. Food: 2.5/5 Drink: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 3.5/5"

"I appreciate your willingness to address my concerns, but I want to clarify that I'm not interested in contacting your management team directly regarding my experience. I'm not seeking compensation for the poor service; no amount of free services can make up for the time and frustration I experienced. I believe your efforts would be better spent on training your staff to understand the importance of urgency in their roles. My husband and I recently visited the Red Robin in Waldorf and were seated promptly at table 65. Our server took our drink order quickly—one Coke and one Poppin Purple Lemonade—but unfortunately, that was the last we saw of her. Instead of checking on us, she spent time socializing with a group of four other employees in a corner. When she finally left that group, we assumed she would retrieve my drink from the bar. To our surprise, she went into the kitchen to attend to another table, where she even apologized to them for their wait. Frustrated, my husband and I decided to pay for our drinks and leave—despite having already spent over $8 on two non-alcoholic beverages, one of which we never received. As we walked past the bar, we noticed my drink sitting there, neglected, which clearly indicated that our server hadn’t bothered to check on it. I approached another employee out of exasperation to request my drink to-go since it had already been paid for. My frustration isn't directed at the individual employees; rather, it's a disappointment in the overall lack of attentiveness and customer service from the team. This raises an important question: where is management during these situations? Shouldn’t they be actively present on the floor, engaging with guests? While I don’t expect five-star service, I do believe that basic customer service standards should be upheld. The absence of a sense of urgency among the staff suggests a possible lack of management oversight. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, [Your Name] "

"The Crazy Fries arrived quickly and were quite substantial. These are spiral-cut potato wedges topped with bacon, pulled pork, cheese sauce, grilled jalapeños, cilantro crema, and salsa. They were absolutely delicious and filling enough that we could have made a meal just out of them. Next came the California Orchard Salad, which was a delightful mix of green apples, grapes, oranges, strawberries, celery, almonds, cranberries, avocado slices, mixed greens, and blue cheese crumbles. Since I was sharing the salad with my husband, who isn’t a fan of blue cheese, we requested the cheese on the side. We were also given a selection of dressings to try. Honey mustard is our favorite, but there was also an avocado dressing, among others. To make sure we both enjoyed the salad, we asked for honey mustard and avocado dressing on the side. We were glad we did, as the avocado dressing wasn’t to our liking, but the honey mustard paired beautifully with the fruit in the salad. When our BBQ combo plate arrived, we were impressed by the generous portions of brisket and three substantial ribs, accompanied by both cornbread and garlic bread. Unsure which to try, we opted to pay a little extra for both types of bread. They came out grilled with a side of butter. The garlic bread was decent, but the cornbread was a standout—especially with its caramelized edges from the grill. We sampled several BBQ sauces from the caddy and found that we liked the Apricot Chipotle and Smokey BBQ best, even though the meats were flavorful enough on their own. Delicious! Lastly, we chose roasted Brussels sprouts for our Market Side, and it was an excellent choice. They were crispy, light, and tasty. We were very glad we stopped for an early dinner, and we even took home leftovers for lunch the next day!"

"First, the positives: My wife thoroughly enjoyed her chicken-topped salad, noting that it was moist and flavorful. The burgers were decent, but my burger and fries arrived only slightly warm. I sent the fries back, and the replacement came out promptly. For the kids' meal, our child received mandarin oranges, which he loved, and they even brought him four additional servings. Now, the negatives: Upon entering, the host informed us there would be a 10-minute wait to clean tables. However, we ended up waiting 25 minutes before being seated at a table that hadn’t been wiped down. We were told several times that the restaurant was short-staffed. After another wait, the server assured us our food would be out shortly, but it took an additional 10 minutes, which is why my fries were lukewarm. Unfortunately, this caused us to miss our movie, throwing off the rest of our afternoon. One more thing—staff attire could use some improvement, and it wouldn't hurt for the host to offer a smile. Lastly, the less pleasant aspects: While waiting in the lobby, I noticed that the woodwork, particularly the support beam next to the host’s desk, needed cleaning. Additionally, there was a faint unpleasant odor in the restaurant. On a positive note, the restroom was relatively clean compared to others. Overall, I believe that with more staff, our experience could have been significantly better."
