"A Hidden Gem with Exceptional Service and Irresistible Steaks! I recently had the pleasure of dining at a true hidden gem in town a steakhouse that checks all the boxes of a memorable dining experience. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that set the tone for the evening. One of the standout features of this steakhouse is its exceptional service. Unlike other places, the staff here doesn't rush you out the door as closing time approaches. On the contrary, the friendly and attentive staff welcomed us to stay longer, ensuring that we felt comfortable and relaxed throughout our meal. This level of service truly added to the overall experience, making us feel like valued guests and not just customers. Now, let's talk about the star of the show the steak. I have to admit, I've tried numerous steakhouses in the past, including the renowned Peter Lugers, but this hidden gem managed to surpass them all. The quality and flavor of the steak were simply exceptional. Each bite was tender, succulent, and bursting with mouthwatering juices. It was evident that the chefs here spared no effort in ensuring that every piece of meat was cooked to perfection. After this experience, I can confidently say that this steakhouse offers the best steaks in town. Another standout aspect of this establishment is the generous portion sizes. Presentation is one thing, but when you get a plate stacked high with a perfectly cooked steak, it's truly a sight to behold. The portions here are substantial, leaving you feeling satisfied and well fed. This is definitely the place for steak lovers who appreciate a hearty and fulfilling meal. Despite its undeniable culinary excellence, the ambiance of this steakhouse is another major plus. It strikes a perfect balance between being clean, elegant, and welcoming. The atmosphere is upscale without being overly stuffy, creating an inviting dining experience for all. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a delicious meal, this steakhouse will make you feel right at home. Overall, my experience at this hidden gem of a steakhouse was nothing short of fantastic. From the attentive service that encouraged us to stay longer, to the mouthwatering steaks that outshined even the most renowned names in the industry, this place truly exceeded all expectations. Cleanliness, generous portions, and an inviting ambiance only add to its charm. For steak lovers seeking an unforgettable dining experience, this establishment is an absolute must visit."

"First time here and found out Sherwood North only opened 10-days ago as the new owners took over this historic property. Wow! We have been staying in the area for 4 days and had been to numerous restaurants in the area. Hands down this is the best that we have been to. We started out with appetizers. I had the Pickled herring platter with pickled vegetables and crispy bread and pâté. The herring was two different ways and was accompanied by pickles, pickled onions andcarrots and crispy bread. The pâté was the richness needed to cut through the acid in the pickled vegetables and this plate was extremely well executed. It was the first time that I had seen pickled herring on a menu in the United States.I looked up the menu online and saw this item and made the decision to have dinner here based solely on this appetizer since I have never seen it outside of European countries. The second appetizer we had was the Brie Brûlée Board. Itfeatured toasted Brie Cheese, Crocotini Crackers, dried fruit, nuts and jam. The Brie was perfectly toasted and the jam was absolutely delicious with the right amount of sweetness to complement the cheese. The mildly acidic olives providedthe perfect balance point to counterbalance the sweetness on the board. The third appetizer was the Popovers served with honey butter and bone marrow butter. They were steaming hot and absolutely delicious. We actually used some of the jamfrom the Brûlée board and combined it with the honey butter and it was insanely good (I would ask for some jam it goes so well with the popovers). The popovers are a MUST HAVE! For a main course I had the pork chop with Apple horseradishglaze. This is honestly the best pork chop I have ever eaten. The bone in pork chop was perfectly glazed then grilled and it had just the right amount of char to allow the glaze to sear on the outside. It had a dash of sea salt whichprovided just the right amount of brininess to offset the sweeter glaze. Upon cutting into th"
