"I was part of a large traveling group of 50 people, and the service and food were absolutely fabulous! I enjoyed my meal so much that I decided to order some muffins to take home. However, when I returned to North Carolina, I was disappointed with the muffins and reached out to the restaurant. The manager, Sonny, went above and beyond to address my concern. I look forward to dining at this location again and highly recommend it to others!"

"I'm generally not into southern food however this place was pretty good. We order the fried chicken which was well seasoned and fried. Our chicken was not dry at all. I ordered their Small plate which was perfect size for me. Sides we ordered were also well made and fresh. Staff was attentive and our waitress was very friendly, attentive and chatty. Not just with us but all her tables. She had great energy. I would definitely come back just because of how welcoming they are here."
"I've dined at other Lizard Thicket locations before, but I was disappointed with the quality of food here. We had lunch there twice while working in the area, and both times, the food fell short. It was nothing like the chicken dinner I enjoyed at their other location. I ordered the leg and thigh dinner, and it was incredibly dry and lacked flavor. It was not good at all."
