"The great news is if you arrived to Bethesda Chevy Chase area or arrived to one of the local hotels late in the evening, this restaurant is open until midnight. I did not find any other local restaurants open past 9 or 10 pm. There was a bar open across the street (nice looking), but their kitchen closed at 9 pm. This was a nice sized restaurant and had a definite throw back feel. The theme was cars and travel. I was quickly seated when I arrived. I was pleasantly surprised at size of the menu and the number of choices, especially so late in the evening. I was tired and was looking for something simple to eat. I also didn't think I would eat a big meal, so I wanted something that would be good to go and heat back up later as needed. I decided on the Loraine burger. A few points on the burger. The meat itself was cooked correctly and to the doneness I ordered. However, the bacon slices were extremely thin, the hamburger bun was only slightly warm. The burger was dressed with lettuce, cheese, a pickle and tomato. It came with fries on the side. The fries had a nice crunch to them, but they were also a served on the cool side. I'm giving this restaurant three stars because they were the only restaurant open late and I hope they continue to keep their late table service food hours for when I visit again. The food was decent, but wasn't anything special either. That's ok, this is exactly what I needed at the end of a long travel day from the West to East Coast. The staff were nice but often did get distracted chatting or doing clean up in their stations, so a little more attention to the guests would have been appreciated. A Plus Pink was playing on the sound while I ate."
