"I previously reviewed Bhugay's Katsu Curry when they had a different location, but now that the signage reads Bhugay's Sushi To Go, I felt it was a good time to share another glowing review for them. Honestly, I can’t understand why this place isn’t recognized as one of the best spots for Katsu Curry in the entire Bay Area. It's a bit unfortunate that the main name outside emphasizes Sushi to Go, as it’s really the Katsu Curry that sets this restaurant apart. I know I might sound like one of those people, but having traveled to Japan nearly a dozen times, I can confidently say that their curry base is just as impressive as what you’d find in Japan. In fact, the extra sauce they drizzle over the Katsu might even top what you get back home. Plus, the way they prepare the Katsu is just right—it’s perfectly fried."
