"We had a lovely dinner here. Service was good, prices were reasonable, and we enjoyed our food. It located in the Publix shopping center on the west side of 441. The road is busy so it's not the easiest to make a turn into the center coming from the south. Hopefully, they will activate the traffic lights that have been installed. Inside it's nicely decorated booths along one wall were the busiest. And there's a sushi bar as well. I started with a small silver soup. I was curious to try it as I'd never heard of this type. It's a lot of veggies in a chicken based broth with a shrimp and a few chicken pieces along with clear noodles. It was good. And now I know. My husband had their mini sushi plate. Five smaller pieces of sushi and a tuna roll were a much larger portion than he'd expected. It was very good. I had a shrimp tempura roll that had lettuce, avocado, and cucumber along with the battered shrimp. The roll was huge! And I'd definitely get this again, but ask for no lettuce next time. The menu is quite large. Or rather I should say menus plural as there is one for sushi and Japanese and one for Thai food. There are many more selections I'd like to sample so, we look forward to coming back again. This place is a keeper!"

"What a disaster, an absolute disgrace to all Hibachi restaurants. Our family dinner to celebrate a graduation ceremony was completely ruined. The food server (Melody) displayed blatant racism, discriminating against us repeatedly over a simple request for a Coke with ice on the side and ignored dietary restrictions and allergies. Her attitude was horrendous, scoffing at the adults and talking to the kids, and she clearly had no intention of providing decent service.When we asked for dinner plates, she stubbornly refused, insisting we eat our dinner off of appetizer plates, while we could see other guests being served with proper plates. The food was served cold and without proper utensils. To make matters worse, the management showed aggression when we raised our concerns instead of deescalating. Melody went to the restroom, and one of my nieces saw her not even washing her hands before starting to serve again. Disgusting! She later told us not to worry because she wouldn't be accepting any tip from us. Seriously?This experience was incredibly disappointing and upsetting. I would not recommend Koto Casual Asian Dining to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience."

"Ordered one simple shrimp tempura roll, to go. I basically live around the corner, have been there many times before. Got home and this was not the tempura roll I remember pre-pandemic. First of all, the shrimp was not tempura! It was plain cooked shrimp it still had pieces of shell on it! I was eating and pulling pieces of shell out of my mouth! It was disgusting and inedible! I immediately called was told to bring it back in. Get back to restaurant and I show a woman the role and she starts arguing with me about it! At first I was going to accept a replacement but then I asked for my money back. She said she would credit my card for just the tempura shrimp roll but not the other food I ordered. I said okay. But she was still argumentative, yelling at me so I told her I don't need you, there's always Banzai Sushi! Later, when I received my credit card statement, she had credited me the whole $39. But I will never go back there! Buyer beware!"

"I was in there yesterday and ordered the teriyaki chicken dinner for $15. And I only recieved a child's portion. And there was literally no color or flavor. In the food. I have never eaten anything so bland in my life. It didn't taste like anything atall. So, I called the restaurant, and the lady answered the phone, and 2 questions, so she heard me very well, then she tried totell me she could not hear, what a Ioad of crop. Then she just kept hanging up on me. I was trying to be nice and explain whatI recieved, but she was just so rude. This was my second visit there, I really enjoyed the food the first time, so I went back,and I can't believe how she treated me. I do not recommend this restaurant."
