"Hadn't been to this restaurant at it's present location, use to be in Alphabet City. It had been a number of yes. I took my ladyfingers, my niece and her husband who is Russian. I thought some of the dishes might be fami, familiar, to him. They brought out hot resh crunchy bread, delicious. They ordered small plates. A plate of sour pickles, sour tomatoes a capers slaw, pickled garlic . They ate a beef soup with veggies. They ordered homemade dump, ingredients beef/ pork and mushrooms. They ordered a cheese bread like a mini pizza but with native cheeses a little salty and sourish delicious. My lady and I ordered a corn bread stuffed with cheese with walnut to put on , wonderful. For the main dish she ordered salmon baked in mashed potatoes covered in cheese unique. I ordered a whole trout in spices tasted great but with way too many small bones, came with grilled veggies. The food was great as was the service."
