Creamy coconut soup with tender chicken, infused with lemongrass, galangal, lime leaves, and a hint of chili.

"this restaurant is a favorite of me because the atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable, almost secret. the people are kind and courteous, and I never feel rushed. there are Thai places in rustester that have better eating, but if I want a relaxed experience, I come here. (I should say I was here for dinner only, so I don't know how it's at lunchtime. there is a good choice of dressing – a whole page of vegetarian options that are almost all vegan. the quality of the dishes varies – they are really good, but not exceptional. if I blew my assessment on the food alone, I would hesitate to give a full 4 stars. the cozy atmosphere, however, expresses my assessment to a solid 4."

"I have eaten Thai food throughout Thailand and can seriously say that the food served here is some of the most authentic in the states served in Thailand. (But nothing can compare with the real deal with the best ingredients in Thailand that are hard to find here. The cook is from Thailand and she prepares every single dish from scratch and so the freshness is absolutely perfect. We always order our Thai meals on the hot side. We always order their delicious Tom Gha Kai Coconut Chicken soup, the spring rolls, the pad Thai, the panang curry with either chicken or salmon, many sushi options, mango sticky rice when it is in season, or the cashew chicken. The Laarb chicken salad is also very good. We always had a delicious meal here. Service is great, but you must be patient so that your food is freshly prepared. Enjoy some appetizers while you wait; they are also wonderful."

"The carrots, onions, and peppers on my plate were charred, and the entire dish had a burnt taste. When I called to address the issue, I was told I needed to bring the plate back for a replacement. Since I live outside of town, making that drive would be a significant inconvenience, especially considering the disruption to my workday. I took photos of the meal to show them during my next visit, hoping for a replacement, but that didn’t seem to be an option. I could hear a woman in the background loudly insisting that there was nothing wrong with the food, and trying to eat the burnt meal only reinforced my decision to try the new Asian restaurant in town next time I want this kind of cuisine. All they needed to do was resolve the issue. I’ve been a customer for years, but I won’t be returning."

"Ambiance was decent and wait staff was good. Other than that nothing else I can say positively bout this placeOur meals were luke warm, blend and some of the sides had no taste to them whatsoever. While they have a bar and there own cocktails if you ask for something not on the menu, u probably wont get it. And yes, unfortunately even the cocktail drinks we did order tasted horrible. Bad bar staff..On top of all this, it took them almost an hour for them to bring our food out. Two kids meals, a chicken plate and crab cakes. I was very upset to say the least.Stay away. Go to Perry's Steakhouse next door. Exceptional food, service and bar area."

"This might be the worst Thai restaurant in the DC metro area. To start, the portions are unusually small—my entree was hardly two-thirds the size of what you'd expect at any other place. I ordered the Drunken Noodle with seafood for $15.89 (including tax). As you can see from the picture, the takeout box is barely larger than my iPhone 7 Plus case, which I needed for this photo. On top of that, the food just doesn’t taste right. The Drunken Noodle at Mai Thai in downtown DC and Georgetown is a far better choice."

"I’ve been coming here for years. Their food is flavorful. I Love the green curry. I normally ask for no spice as they make it pre spiced. Their pad Thai chicken is another one my favorites! I always get mild spice, if you get medium or hot it will equate to the level of hotter sauces at Buffalo Wild Wings to best describe the level of heat. You can always ask for no spice in your pad Thai! I also am in love with their PHO! :"

"Amazing Thailand lives up to its name. My daughter and I had a fantastic lunch at the restaurant yesterday. The dining room was clean and inviting, and we were warmly greeted upon arrival. We were able to choose where we wanted to sit, and our drink orders were promptly taken. The salads and spring rolls that came with our meal were served quickly and our friendly server made sure we were well taken care of. The dishes we ordered were served hot and looked appetizing. The food was impressive. My daughter loved the Sesame Chicken for its flavorful, not too spicy taste. I tried the Prik Prow (pictured) with chicken and it was amazing. The dish can also be made with beef, pork, tofu, or vegetables, and I had the option to choose the spice level. Our server, who may have been the owner, genuinely cared about our satisfaction with the food and overall experience. The only downside was that we had to drive 23 minutes to get there, but it was well worth the journey. I wish I had discovered Amazing Thailand sooner and will definitely be returning as a regular customer."

"To start, my order arrived quite late due to DoorDash, but that's no fault of the restaurant. When I opened the bags, everything was fresh and steaming hot, which was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the level 7 spicy Vegetable Drunken Noodles, and they were double-wrapped to prevent any spills—thank you for that! They had a good amount of heat, but it wasn’t overwhelming. The vegetables were fresh and delicious, and the portion size was more than reasonable. I can't stop raving about how good it was! I also got steamed chicken dumplings that came with garlic soy sauce. The order contained five sizeable dumplings—definitely larger than the usual size, probably like putting two smaller ones together. The sauce was delightful, tangy, and slightly sweet, and I think the filling consisted of minced chicken, seasoned veggies, and garlic. Topped with what seemed to be toasted garlic, the dumplings provided a nice textural contrast. What really impressed me was that I requested an extra side of chili sauce in my notes on DoorDash, and the restaurant delivered! They packaged the sauce in a plastic baggie to avoid spills. After experiencing so many disappointing DoorDash orders in the past, I was truly blown away by this one. I wish I had taken photos because everything was fantastic! I can't wait to visit the restaurant in person for dinner. Thank you, everyone! This is how you earn a loyal customer!"

"I visited this restaurant for the first time and was really looking forward to the menu selections. I began with the wings, which were quite tasty. They were coated in a spicy-sweet Thai chili sauce. My spice tolerance is a bit higher than average, so I found them not spicy at all, but they still had great flavor. For my main course, I ordered the Bangkok shrimp. It included eight shrimp, a garnish of lump crab meat, and a spicy ground chicken sauce. Unfortunately, the shrimp were slightly overcooked, but the sauce was enjoyable. Overall, it was a solid experience."

"What is surprise this place was authentic Thai food. The food was delicious. Served fresh piping hot. You can choose your level of spiciness. The beer came with a cold chilled glass. The food was delicious. I chose the drumsticks with salad. The chicken wings were Hardee. what you see in the picture was enough to fill me up, I come back definitely and my server was very nice helpful with suggestions I give this a five star rating so if you’re out in the area look for it it’s right next to the dollar tree is well worth the stop or the drive just to come and eat"

"I've been to this restaurant multiple times now, and it has quickly become one of our favorite spots. The food is consistently fantastic, particularly the Crab Mandalay (Crab Rangoons) and Ramen, which I believe are the best in town. Other standout dishes we've tried include the Pork Belly Buns (Bao), Siam Pho, Drunken Lo Mein Noodles, and their Curry. The atmosphere is delightful, especially if you're seated in the basement, which exudes a cool vibe reminiscent of a hidden gem Asian restaurant. The bar layout is unique, and the restrooms are well-kept. While the service can be inconsistent at times, they generally excel in making recommendations and delivering quality service. It does get busy, but good food takes time. If you have to wait, try to be patient, as this is far from your typical chain restaurant experience. They also have a convenient parking lot beside the building. Just pull up to the crossbar, press A or Z on the panel, wait a moment, and the gate will open for you."

"I have done take-out 2 times per week for many years. Santee and Mickey and staff are respectfully friendly and efficient. My usual order is 'Amazing ' with steamed tofu. 'Volcano Crunch ' is my favorite sushi. Great place to do a business lunch and of course family get together as well."

"We visited on Thursday at 8:30 PM and I was surprised at how empty it was, with only two tables occupied. The quality of the sushi was not what I remembered from my previous visits; the spicy tuna roll seemed off, as if the mixture had been pre-made and sitting for a while. The hamachi jalapeno was also disappointing, with the fish lacking flavor. The nigiri varied widely—some were average, others were better, and a few were subpar. The O toro was pale and clearly frozen, much like some of the other fish. On the brighter side, the botan ebi was very good, and the Japanese snapper was excellent. The Thai dishes were delicious, and the mango sticky rice was also enjoyable. I’ve been coming here for years, but the quality doesn’t seem to match the high prices anymore. However, the service was excellent and the attention we received was top-notch."
