"The appetizer of mushroom stuffed was served cold, not even close to being warm. For dinner, I ordered steak and lobster. The potatoes were cold, the steak was warm, and the lobster was also warm. I decided not to order dessert because our bill was already over $150. The service was great and there was a good selection of wine. My husband's dinner was also on the warm/cold side. He ordered oysters for an appetizer, which tasted okay but were very small and almost not worth the effort. Neither of us complained to the server about our cold food, as we both have worked in customer service for many years. We would rather not go back than complain about our meals. Thank you."

"here on a walk in providence. the waitress was so rude that I felt compelled to write that. the place was guided by the titled children who did not care for their job. the waitress treated us like an inconvenience. she has our order not for 20 min. We were going to leave us again and again, and she sighed with disapproval when I ordered two beer and coffee. they fell rudely a beer not two beers as I ordered) on our table when we were not looking and lastly charged us $30 for 1 beer and two coffees. the police also stopped to attack a customer complaint. I can't imagine what it was about."

"Anniversary dinner with our two children, 8 and 10. We decided to sit out on the porch on a fairly humid June evening and the ceiling fans made for a nice breeze. We find most restaurants to be overly air-conditioned, but Metro 8 didn't seem like a fridge even when we walked in - that's a huge plus for me! Our waitress was very nice and attentive without interfering. She noted that it was nice to see kids with books (and math in our conversation) instead of iPads. The steaks my husband and I ordered were as advertised and delicious. So were the pages. Our girls loved their grilled chicken. Cocktails were good and just the right strength. Highly recommended."

"The food was outstanding! It was so good that we ate there twice a day and even shopped at the market in between our visits. The crabs were also fantastic, with each dish showcasing its own unique flavor. The cocktails were fresh and perfectly balanced! The appetizers came out hot, crispy, and fresh—simply delicious. We tried a lot of different dishes! The calamari was some of the best I've ever had, and I've served fantastic calamari in Savannah, GA for years. The Lachssushi Stack was refreshing and well-seasoned. The crab fries were tasty, a bit heavy but genuinely satisfying—freshly cut fries at their finest. The bacon-wrapped scallops were cooked to perfection, and the accompanying sauce and Brussels sprouts were to die for! The cream of crab soup was fantastic as well—I could definitely taste the sherry! The steamer pots blew us away with their size; these were some serious shells. I also enjoyed the vegetables served with the dishes. I could go on and on! Do yourself a favor and eat here!"

"lovee rossi’s deli in culver city. they unfortunately do not take any reservations, so they try to go early whenever they can, because the lines can long Thursday-Sunday we ordered a few dishes with burrata on the side, the pasta and cheese was fresh, the sweet was well roasted, and overall eating was satisfying. it is a place of self-ordering so that they don't have to worry that their server is not attentive."

"I had the cheese plate, mussels, and salad. The cheese plate was wonderful, the salad was just okay. However, the mussels were absolutely incredible. Truly some of the best I've ever had I thought about that meal all weekend! However, the service was HORRIBLE. I was one of only three people in the entire restaurant, but had to get up and go to the bar in order to ask my server for help or additional items. He was on his phone the entire time, watching videos. I was quite disappointed, as the food was really good."

"This is the best kept secret of the South Side...right when you come in, super chill music, friendly staff, extremely relaxed atmosphere. The food? I had The Beast, a hot roast beef sandwich with roasted red peppers, caramelized onions, and a Chipotle Mayo...it honestly took me back to the nineties, when there weren 't so many chains and there were a lot of mom and pop sandwich shops. The bread was toasted and crispy, all of the ingredients were perfectly prepared...you could tell the people making this sandwich cared whether you liked it. I was in heaven. Great drinks too, with awesome weird niche alcohol selections, like really crazy sour beers, mead from Apis (another Pittsburgh best-of), flavorful stouts...much more adventurous than the tired selection of IPAs most places offer up. On top of all of this, the prices were really reasonable. I got out of there for 20ish dollars plus tip with a great sandwich/beer combo that left me feeling well-fed and energized. Definitely check it out. This place is incredible. One of the real hidden gems of the 'Burgh."

"I'm not sure what has changed, but I've tried food from here before and it was acceptable. However, my recent experience was disappointing. I ordered a burrito, and the wrap was so sticky that I found it off-putting. The rice had a terrible taste as well. I have to say, if you can survive the cleanliness issues in this city, you're truly a warrior!"

"At first seems like a basic Italian restaurant/pizza shoppe in a shopping center but it’s not! The food is great and the service is even better! We go back often bc Alexandra (Ali is so welcoming and an amazing manager or server (not really sure of her role . She greets us by name and says start with the usual (remembered after our first visit ! makes great menu recommendations, we ya e tried MANY specials bc of her and tried menu items (delish we may not have normally ordered. Love the baked clams and penne vodka. Nice spin on mozzarella sticks too. Love this place. Sit at a booth!"

"This is second time we have had bad service at this location. Last time the employee had such a bad attitude we left without ordering. Yesterday we went back and had our grandson with us. Same guy same nasty attitude like we were an inconvenience tohim. I tried to shower him with please and thank yous but he still acted like he hated his job times 10. The food was good andfresh. The couple behind us sat near us in the food court and overheard our conversation about the worker and his bad attitudeand they chimed in and said YES he was very nasty. My husband made a point to walk up to the counter as we left and said buddy you really should change your attitude working with the public Like I said the food was good and fresh so no complaintsthere but this guy 2 times bad experience. If it wasn 't for my grandson asking for pizza we would have left this time also!"
