"Unfortunately, I think we just went there on an off night. Which was a shame because our group of 5 was celebrating my husband 's birthday. My husband LOVES Table and Main 's Fried Chicken! And his dinner did not disappoint. Thank goodness! However, the rest of our group was honestly underwhelmed. Our waitress, Barbara, obviously had other things on her mind. Orders mixed up, drinks delayed, soupy macaroni and cheese served with my vegetable plate and just a general lack of attention. We have been here many times in the past and have always raved about the food and our experience. So, needless to say, we won 't be visiting Table and Main for a while. Especially when there are so many other options on Canton Street. Time to try somewhere new."

"Came again when visiting the city after a couple of years and 100% impressed by everything. Original review: Very good experience overall and glad we made the trip. The server was friendly, attentive, and had great input. Cocktails were inventive and packed a welcome punch. Food varied between amazing and bursting with flavor to a bit bland. Calamari and shrimp app had a wonderful agrodolce and lemon aioli started things off right. We had 2 pasta dishes as mains, and there was a striking difference in flavor. The Ricotta Cavatelli was some of the most delicious pasta I've had in a long while. The sausage added great flavor to the dish and was a perfect pairing with the sauce. The other main dish was the Orecchiette. It was fine and everything was cooked properly, the sauce was creamy, but it was just bland overall, even with the sweet hits of cranberry. The goat cheese and sage cream just sort of made it a one note song. My wife mentioned that something as simple as salt and pepper would have made the dish a whole lot better, and she's correct. She usually is. For dessert we had the Myer Lemon Semolina Cake. Moist, full of flavor, and the mousse that accompanied it should be served in bowls by itself. Great visit overall with the low point being the Orecchiette, and even then it's not like it was terrible or inedible. I'm not entirely sure it warranted a paragraph but it was out of place with everything else. Prices were maybe a little steep for the quantity, but for the ambience and feel of the place it makes sense."

"We were greeted by the hostess promptly and shown to a seat in the bar where we could wait for our friends. There we were waited on promptly by the bartender . We ordered drinks and my husband ordered the she crab soup which was amazing. When our friends arrived , we were promptly shown to our table. A person arrived at our table and poured water for us each. I thought he was the water boy. 25 minutes passed before anyone else approached our table. And then, only because we asked the hostess why we were not being waited on. Turns out the “water boy” was our waiter. Anyway, I ordered the short ribs, which were also, amazing. I would definitely return. And hope our server is someone other than “ the water boy”."

"We went there by default as we didn't want to wait an hour for Honor Bar. I had the hamburger and it was excellent. One of the best in town. My friends ordered fish and they liked it. There was Jazz music there that night, although very nice, we were trying to have a quiet dinner. If you like music while dining check out the Tuesday night menu. Our server a young man was very attentive. The place had a nice vibe. We will definitely go there again."

"To begin, I adore Chef and the Farmer experience from the moment I walk in the door to the sad moment I leave. Your staff is excellent (last time our server was the pretty lady with glasses, long pony tail, thank you who ever you are) and she took such care of us. The time before we sat at the counter watching the line. Lots of fun. Josh or Jason, big guy with beard, was a lot of fun, also! I brought 5 friends, some of whom were afraid of some of the menu items like Tom Tom and left a BIG FAN OF TOM TOM!!! Thank you for your creative inspiring food and atmosphere. If I could change anything, it would to relocate you closer to Clayton, where I live. Please..... open CF 2 closer to me! I have cooked my way through half of Deep Roots, loved every minute of it, and my friends love eating it. As Zac Brown Band says.....
