"I was so excited to finally get to this much beloved restaurant in Johnston. It was hopping on a Sunday evening and my friends and I only had a short wait before we were seated at a nice corner table. The food selection was plentiful and once we decided on our drinks and entrees I'm afraid it took forever for anyone to greet us and our server to take our order. As a matter of fact there were at least 2 other tables in our section who were seated and served well after our arrival before we got our food! We were feeling a bit frustrated. But our entrees were delicious and our server was very apologetic. We did negotiate a free dessert due to all the delays which they granted and the manager also came over and apologized for the delays in our food. I will go back and try some of their other food. I spotted that other table's homemade gnocchi and I'd love to try that next time!"

"I was a walk in order for take out. I ordered two heros. I was asked for a name for the order, and I paid. My receipt said 3:57pm. I sat in the booth 4ft from the take out counter. At 4:40pm I went up to the counter to discover that my order had been ready for quite some time. I asked why nobody said anything when it was hot and ready and the answer I got was, “We don’t do that here” my response…, then why did you ask my name and tell me to have a seat in the closest booth???I can’t honestly read the food because it was cold by the time we got it. The overall restaurant was very clean and the staff waiting on tables appeared to be very friendly with the other customers. However, I will never return to this establishment and I caution anyone who orders takeout to make sure it’s crystal clear that they know you’re waiting for your food, and that you are not a mind reader."

"I would like to start this review by stating that the food was excellent. Our meals were enjoyed by all three of us. Unfortunately, we did have an issue with pricing. Be very careful about being told about extras or specials, but not being told there is a large charge for those. They are not regularly listed on the menu and unfortunately we were not aware when we ordered something the waiter recommended, but did not acknowledge a rather large charge for. At the end of the meal it was impossible to read the bill because the lighting is so very dim. There were a lot of flashlights from phones being used that evening. There is an additional 3.5% charge for credit cards so be aware of that and it was not until the next day that I was able to get a good look at the itemized bill to find that we had been overcharged. Do not rely on the website for pricing either. after speaking with the manager, we were able to come to terms and I now feel comfortable giving this review."

"My mom and I are heading out tomorrow on a cruise. I selected The Tremont because of its proximity to the pier. Upon arrival, we were greeted very warmly by a very nice gentleman named Jerome. Jerome loaded our bags onto the trolley and waited for us to check in. Once checked in, he accompanied my mother and I to our room. Jerome was very helpful, professional, and kind. He not only brought our bags into the room and placed them in a location of our choice, he showed us where each item in the room was (refrigerator, coffee maker, closet, etc). If you are staying at The Tremont anytime soon, you’ll look forward to meeting Jerome.Rooms: Our room at The Tremont was very well appointed. The feel was luxurious. Our view was facing the strand and each window had gorgeous shutters. The high ceilings and lighting really added to the rich and cozy feeling.Walkability: The hotel is within walking distance to the strand, various bars restaurants, and even to the pier if you’re going cruising."

"What a fun surprise of a restaurant! It's in the most unassuming area surrounding by industrial type buildings and not noticeable. It's definitely got an old-world Italian restaurant feel. Service was nice and quick enough. The food was surprisingly good. Burrata special and fresh mozzarella and tomatoes were both delicious. The salad with goat cheese was also great. Rigatoni with meatballs was good, and rigatoni with bolognese was phenomenal. The grilled branzino was also excellent. Chianti was a nice choice. The limoncello mascarpone cake was truly something special. Light, moist, perfectly balanced. We highly recommend it! Parking is ok, but limited. Family friendly."

"It was a lovely evening as we sat on the terrace at the restaurant. Our waiter was very friendly, but the food was just average. The fish dish was well-cooked but had a heavy shell. "La Mia’s has fantastic food and outstanding service! My family and I have now had the La Mia’s food for every life event at our house for the past 6 months: As we all know BBP is not short on pizza places or gas stations so it took us a while to try LaMias, and let me just say this, it’s been awesome! We mostly get the eggplant which tastes just like my mother in law used to make! Their garlic knots are perfection! And their salads fresh and delicious! I ordered last minute for Christmas and they graciously took my order way after the proper time frame and came through for me! And stayed open later cause I of course forgot stuff and had to go back! They waited for me! So amazing and kind! And organized, clean and delicious! Thank you!"

"Paper thin pizza I called and spoke to someone to see if they had changed the recipe, because as soon as we opened the pizza, it was super thin we have been loyal customers for years whoever I spoke with over the phone kept just repeating the same thing how they don't make thin crust unless asked this pizza is way too thin, typically it's thicker and more filling.. paid almost $50 for us to not even get filled no help at all, or even an offer to make another one if we brought them a slice or emailed them I don't know if we will buy from Vinnys on Levells rd again wish the customer service had been better, and the price for what we got was disappointing it was good, but other than that, hard pass.. sorry Vinnys, unless you fix this you may have just lost a loyal customer"

"I would not recommend this restaurant. the service was terrible. we sat 10 minutes before the waitress ever brought us water (that should have been a sign that we should go.) we stayed because the menu looks good. when they brought the water, we ordered our drinks that lasted another 10 minutes to come and someone else brought them to us, and then we had to fly our waitress to order our food. that came and was mediocre. my grouper had such a fish taste that I couldn't eat everything. my man said the garnel are not fresh. the waitress never checked us again after eating. please don't waste her money here."
