"I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

"Surprisingly quiet, low key restaurant. Lighting just right. Fascinating decor. Energetic, knowledgeable server with a smile. Had Alii mushroom salad and salmon tataki appetizers. Beautifully plated, modest portions. Delicious, Ordered lamb chops special and catch of the day for entrees. Again, beautiful presentation, well seasoned, good sized portions. Lamb cooked perfectly medium. Finished with Mac nut chocolate bar and Lilikoi creamsicle desserts. Both were visually stunning. Mac nut chocolate bar delicious but heavy a must share. The Lilikoi creamsicle was lighter and refreshing. They do have kids’ meal offerings: grilled cheese with fries, flatbread pizza and pasta with butter. Overall, a wonderful evening and dining experience. Value on par with other high end local restaurants. Would come again for relaxing dining experience."

"We were three adults with two (nicely dressed and well mannered) kids at 5 in the evening on a Sunday. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and the rude hostess shoved us at a tall bar table in between a service station and the kitchen door. After asking someone other than the hostess were moved to a regular table. The waitstaff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. Service took forever, orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it was pounded with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were incredible."

"We have eaten here several times before and have enjoyed the food, though service has been spotty. Last night we were seated in a room with what I can only call bad karaoke and a rowdy crowd. When we go out on a Saturday evening, we want to be able to talk. This was impossible. Our food was delayed at each course, and we didn't get dinner until my husband demanded our food. We asked for the leftovers to be wrapped and for the check. We were there for 2 unbearable hours, and will never eat here again. "Overrated. I appreciate the attempt to bring a new twist or perspective to Mexican cuisine, but the most crucial element is that the food should be flavorful and retain its essence. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. I encountered some of the blandest tacos I’ve ever had, leaving me quite disappointed. I can only imagine how a Mexican person would feel dining there. Service: Dine-in."

"Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better chefs with more than one cooking style who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. The burned cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ..."

"Have eaten here several times. Was surprised that with a reservation we were still sitting at a booth looking into the kitchen. We could have asked to be moved, but we didn't want to. The waiter was very enthusiastic, but failed to fill glasses of water without being asked. My husband's lasagna was a huge brick in the middle of an unadorned plate. A little salad or something green and crispy would have been nice. Not an à la carte fan, especially when it comes to the price of the main course alone. The room was very dark and a bit noisy. I would ask not to sit in this area another time."

"Although we are closer to The Woodlands location, we would rather drive down to Houston to dine at the Galleria one. The Westheimer location is longer established and has somewhat of a more old-timey, classic feel… And, we prefer that. It gives that elegant romantic vibe that has stood the test of time for us. Plus, if you’re a crab lover like me, AYCE crab is offered on Monday nights (at the Westheimer location only). Recently celebrated our anniversary here. Our entire meal was outstanding, and table service was top-notch. We came in an hour before our early dinner reservation to catch Happy Hour at the bar, and that was perfect prequel. The bar menu had all kinds of delicious bites and fun cocktails, and bar service was also great. Everything WONDERFUL, from beginning to end."

"We had dinner here at and many of the tables inside were empty. The tables were spaced more than apart. The starters we had were the three seafood items on the menu and all delicious (especially the ahi poke), ceviche and sashimi. We also had the caviar. I loved the mini beignets served with the caviar but they overwhelmed it. I ended up using the bread instead. For entrees we had the lamb and lobster. Both were outstanding. All in all i would recommend for any family of foodies who are accustomed to NY city pricing"

"Birthday dinner started out fine but the rolls we ordered as an appetizer never came until after the entrees. Service was good until we ordered. Then they never came back. We ran out of water and drinks. Finally yelled the waiters name across the restaurant and got water. Ordered another drink but they forgot that also. Had to ask for another one and it finally arrived after dessert. They did mess up and brought 2. Food was good and I have had great service at the Trulucks in Florida. Seemed like the wait staff had way too many tables and were very interested in serving the 2 large tables Will not be going back to this location"

"The best high-end meal I've ever had. The ambiance was pleasing. The menu was upscale. The food and plating was elevated. Presentation is key after all... Our server, Parker, was so professional and timed everything perfectly. The calamari is the best I've ever had, and I've enjoyed a lot of calamari over the years. My scallops put a tear in my eye. They're hard to come by where I'm from and these satisfied every craving and expectation I had. Boyfriend's filet mignon was delicious with the garlic and seasoning to meet the consumers taste buds. Then, to top it all off, is the carrot cake. What a delicacy to complete a truly wonderful evening. I'm so happy to have been able to experience something like this. It's a night I'll remember for years to come."

"Hi everyone! Please be aware that this place is not always that good as you expect. My brother came all the way from Boston for a family dinner here in Austin in one used to be lovely restaurant Truluck. We’ve been in this restaurant before before they moved one block down the street. That time we had an amazing experience. But, this time we have not. As an upside they have a good kitchen, maybe even the same as it used to be, because the food was really good. But the level of service was really terrible. Server Nolan should be fired without the right to work in this industry. Should be cancelled, should be banned. His manager, the lady should follow. The reason why I may sound harsh is because these guys hate children and their clients. That kind of looks they gave all our company were so inappropriate that we asked for a manager. And Hector showed up- a hospitality manager. Really nice guy. But he is not in charge, don’t have any power over Nolan or his b y manager. Nolan and his manager took away the plate from the baby. The one they put on the table before you arrive, so you would feel that you’ve been awaited. That is touchy and very thoughtful. But leaving one plate for a baby is not a big deal especially given the fact that he just like flashy little things which calm him down. They don’t have a highchair, they allow children though and I left a note saying we would be with a baby and a stroller. But leaving a plate made from foil was so big of a deal that they ruined all our dinner over it: I mean they didn’t but tried very hard anyway. Hector and the kitchen saved it. One star is given only because people should know how bad your experience may be if you all of the sudden don’t fit. We were nicely dressed, anticipated to spend a perfect night with our family. So Nolan and his manager can go to hell for ruining people’s dinners. That didn’t work just so you know. But you guys are the worst and people should know that."

"The delivery person was quite rude. Earlier that day, someone had stolen a package from my home, so I was being extra cautious about who was at my door, even though I was expecting my order. He kept repeating "delivery," and I asked him three times where it was from. Then he huffed out, "Delivery? Or no delivery?" Eventually, he mentioned it was from Casa Calamari. They only gave me one meatball, but I have to say, the meatball and ravioli were both very good. I also enjoyed the chocolate cake, which was quite delicious."

"Wow! What an experience the menu had unique items like meat sushi, say what??? It was amazeballs just order it. Then you have the outstanding presentation the servers put on quite a show cooking our butter basted sirloin on a searing cast iron platter table side and then slicing the Tomahawk steak like a combo of Edward Scissorhands and Benihana chefs. And of course you can't forget the flair of the salt drops. So fun, great food, great wine, great show. Highly recommend!!"

"Came for lunch special. Ordered the Bianca pizza which tasted really good. Comes with fries or salad. Ordered the Truffle fries which is great as usual. I visit the restaurant infrequently. The taste of the food I try when I visit is always consistently fresh and well prepared. I've tried five different types of pizzas. Three types of pasta dishes and the drinks are unique and they use fresh fruit if part of the drink. Chef Alex is great and the staff is very accommodating."

"The food was good, the service was friendly. Cash and credit are both accepted, but cash is cheaper. There is an additional 3% charge to credit card payments. The sandwiches are on the expensive side, where a roll costs between $9-10 for just meat cheese and bread. However, the flavors are good, and they make a quality sandwich. I ordered the Rocky Balboa, chicken parm with mozzarella, and the Apllo Creed, chicken cutlet with mozzarella and vodka sauce. Their is a small lot of the side of the building for parking and metered street parking available in front. 12/2023"

"I had dinner there with my family after receiving rave reviews of the restaurant. Our server was very nice, but marginally incompetent. He didn't know many details about the menu when asked for details. One of the starters was served without any of the 3 ingredients (olives with canned citrus and fried parsley - served without the fried parsley - not the waiter's fault). The waiter presented the special as an appetizer, but it was actually an appetizer. My main course (or should I say "starter") was served about 5 minutes after the rest of my table had already served their main courses. I was able to order another main course when it was clear that I had ordered an appetizer, but by then the rest of the table was done with the main course. The rest of the people at my table enjoyed the food and the beers were delicious, but overall my experience was not great."
