"It was my mom's birthday, so I made a reservation and included a special request. When we arrived, the hostess didn’t take the time to acknowledge my reservation. Instead, we were quickly taken to a table that wasn't in a great location. Different servers would drop off items at our table and then hurry away, making it difficult for us to communicate or request sauces, water, etc. After several attempts, I managed to inform the server who took our final order about the birthday celebration. We ordered dessert, and a group came over to sing happy birthday, which was a nice gesture. However, they placed a hat on my brother’s head and started singing, which was disappointing since it was the wrong person. I had clearly mentioned my mom's name and the purpose of the reservation along with the special requests. Later, I received an email stating that I had missed my reservation, indicating that the hostess had messed up everything from the start. While I have no complaints about the food—it was okay—and overall, it is a fun restaurant, communication was definitely a significant issue."
