"Couldn’t even order. Asked if I could custom order a smoothie/shake and was told I could. Wanted simply chocolate ice cream with banana and peanut butter (they offer a protein combo similar to it so I figure why not), and the employee asked me if I want that with peanuts. Confused, I replied just peanut butter and banana; then he fetched the blender and went to the calculator to tell me the cost, letting me know he’s doing me a favor by not charging me for the protein, which I never asked for. I simply tell him I don’t mind paying $12 as long as it’s good. He said something else and I had had it, told him I’d wait for the other employee who was finishing up a customer. Turns out that employee was unavailable too cuz he went and helped the customer who came in after me. Must not have needed the drink it seems. Definitely ain’t getting any kind of service. Welcome to the new normal, where the employees do the customer(s) a favor by allowing us to spend our money in their establishment where they work. So interesting."
