"Lovely restaurant and bakery with genuinely kind staff. I ordered the fajitas de pollo, and while the vegetables were pan-fried wonderfully, the chicken was slightly tougher than I prefer but still tasted great! My partner thought the same about the carna asada he ordered regarding toughness and taste. Highlights were the fresh tortillas and variety of salsas and chili based toppings (I'm a sucker for chili oil as well as the fresh and flavorful peppers and onions in the fajitas. Everything was piping hot and fresh, including the rice and beans that came with our meal. We didn't purchase any of the baked goods, but based on the number of customers who dropped in just for the bakery items, they're most likely just as good if not better than the other food they serve. It was awesome to experience authentic dining without leaving the States, and I will definitely come again on my annual trip to Mattawa. Kid-friendliness: Many kid-friendly options such as quesadillas, nachos, hamburgers, rice, and beans, all of which have an easily customizable spice level. Breakfast options possibly more suitable for kids include pancakes and french toast! Don't forget the large bakery selection :"
