"I’ve tried this restaurant a few times. Each time the food has been great (minus the hair we found in our burrito the first time) but the service is horrible. What’s even more upsetting, we were forced to pay gratuity because we had 3 adults and 4 kids in our party. It took forever to get chips once we were seated, about 10 min. Then we ordered drinks, another 10 minutes. Once our food came out we were missing items. It took another 10-15min for missing items to come out. We had to ask for silverware, napkins, drink refills etc. We were patient but never once did the manager or waitress come over and apologize. That day I definitely wouldn’t have left a tip. That’s why I believe they ended up adding gratuity to our bill. They knew they were getting a mandatory tip so they definitely did not show any customer service! I will never go back to that place nor would I recommend it!"

"I’m excited to share my discovery of a wonderful little Mexican restaurant that offers creative and tasty dishes! I ordered a vegetable platter featuring beans, rice, grilled mushrooms, and grilled sweet potatoes, paired with salad, sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo. My husband tried the carnitas burrito, which he quickly finished. The guacamole and salsa were superb, and the salsa had a delightful kick that we really enjoyed. On my last visit, I also had the Mahi Mahi tacos, which were fantastic. They also have a good selection of beer and wine."

"Best decision! We could have went to Walmart buy and cook what we wanted but for. The variety, PRICE, convenience, quickness, quality and quantity, it was BEST to eat out! WE ARE SO HAPPY WITH OUR CHOICE AND YOU WILL BE TOO! When I say fast I mean fast, not rushed just attentive. I barely had time to take pictures lol! It was wonderful, we walked in and we were immediately greeted, we said two and she who greeted us also seated us. She picked the perfect booth! As SOON as We were seated she was back with warm chips and salsa for the table. After that our waiter came and got our drink order. Lucky for us we already knew what we wanted to order. She leaves and in the time it takes to walk to the bar and back she had our drinks ready... I needed a minute, to look over the menu (to take pictures of the menu lol), and then we ordered. I think all in all the most time between any action was my need for pictures, otherwise overall experience was friendly, fast and delicious! Food was beautifully plated. The Quesadilla tortilla was to die for like definitely unique light and buttery. My tacos were stuffed and one was filling, I took the rest Togo. All in all we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves, decompress from work and sit out the traffic, then we realized it's only been 30 minutes!? That's freaky fast service and we are more than grateful. We highly recommend! Service was amazing years ago (we cook more than we eat out) and today was no different it wasn't yet crowded but it felt comfortable and again the service will make you feel like you are the only table that matters, yet I saw her attend to multiple. Kids of all ages are welcomed here. Let's not forget the affordable ticket total for two was only $25! we will be back soon. For the saving likely once a week."

"Well this experience was a little different had a client brag about this place so I came and the one waitress tended to us as if it was a full house and there was only three tables, not sure if she was tired or annoyed she seemed disconnected from work, we waited so long to just order for our food, then when it finally came it was as if there was no flavor no salt in the food, chicken was dry no flavor, just kind of felt like it was made with no love or passion. : not satisfied. I don?t know I?ll probably come back and see if the experience is different but this was not what I was expecting because my client highly recommended it. Hopefully it?s different next time."

My only critique is that some dishes felt a bit too rich, but overall the food was delicious. "Terrible experience. My boyfriend likes this place so we figured we would go for dinner and drinks. First off took forever to get service. Ordered food. The server came back and told us they don’t have the appetizer that we ordered. Okay no problem. Then the food comes and my order was wrong and the plate wasn’t even hot like sizzling enchiladas sound be. Which made me nervous because food that isn’t hot contains bacteria since it has been sitting. My boyfriend goes to eat his dinner and realizes that his food is cold as well. I got up to tell the nearest server since we couldn’t find ours. They brought back my plate, which they just scraped off the top to “correct my order”. Which I could live with. But I was shook when the server asked my boyfriend “if they could just microwave his plate of cold food.” LOL I was at a loss for words. No that isn’t okay. LOL This food is cold and has been sitting around. If I wanted microwaved food I would’ve stayed home and ate a hot pocket. We didn’t want to make a big deal of things so we ate the food they brought back to us, (after I told the server, no he will not eat the same plate microwaved). Took forever to get beers. Took forever to get any sides that came with our meals. Then we receive our check. My boyfriend was so frustrated and wanted to leave that he just handed his card over. We get the check back and they charged us almost $20 extra dollars for an appetizer that they told us they ran out of. LOL At this point I’m laughing because it’s just ridiculous. All we got was a “ohh sorry we will have to void it and run the card again”. We will not be returning to Que Pasa in Visalia. Should’ve stayed home and ate a hot pocket. Would’ve had a better experience."

"This is definitely not authentic Mexican food! Went there with my husband and two daughters, the service was horrible! Waited at the front to be seated and not one person asks if we have been helped they just keep dealing with paying customers! Then once seated it took forever for someone to take our order, After we got our food nobody checked to see if we needed anything else or… refills on drinks. Food was edible but by no means what I expected! Then waited forever to pay, everyone walks by never asking if we need help! No, we just like standing around!!!!! Definitely never coming back and telling everyone we know not to either!"

"The staff at Rincon were very friendly and welcoming! We visited on a rainy day when most other places were closed. However, I was quite disappointed with the food. It lacked flavor, was poorly cooked, and didn't seem very refined. It sat heavily in my stomach and definitely didn't taste homemade. My tacos were smothered in sauce, the rice was bland, and the bean paste had no flavor at all. Even the generous amount of cheese on top didn't save the dish. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant."

"I came here for the first time last year and since then I’ve come here at least once a month. Their food is delicious!! They bring out chips and salsa but what makes them different than every other restaurant is they have, what I call “cabbage salsa”. It’s not actually a cabbage based salsa but it’s a pico de gallo of sorts with the tinies amount of cabbage in it. It is DELICIOUS. The red salsa is also very tasty and the green salsa has that kick when you need a little spice. The staff are always extremely friendly and kind. I have never, not once gone to Agave and left disappointed or underwhelmed. This is the best food in the plaza, and I stand by that statement 100%. Their macho burrito is huge and so good, or their enchiladas when I don’t wanna have leftovers. If you love yourself, do yourself a favor and go into Agave. I would be genuinely shocked if you didn’t enjoy it."

"I had a great experience at this restaurant. Upon arrival, I was served right away. I ordered a meal before heading to the theater, and when I mentioned that my movie was starting soon, the staff assured me that I wouldn’t have to wait long. I tried the carne asada plate, and it was fantastic! It comes with just two tacos, but believe me, they are quite filling. The meat was thick and incredibly juicy. I have a big appetite, so if I felt full, you definitely will too!"

"There are no shortages of Mexican joints in SD. You are really just 30 minutes from the border. In the Old Town area, I would say Cafe Coyote is probably the best option. You don't get 11k Google reviews for no reason. The meats are tender but not the most flavorful I have had in the SD area, the tortilla is also not the softest but acceptable. Good sauces. Overall the ingredients are fresh and the service is fast, there are plenty of seating capacity. I can imagine this place being packed during the tourist session. I wouldn't come here specifically but it is a solid Mexican joints is you are in the area."

"Let me start off by saying there is huge discrepancy between the foot traffic in this restaurant, the quality and value of their food and their surprisingly amazing drinks. The restaurant is very busy, lots of people, very cool old building with a sense of history to it. Good customer service but very bland average food for the price. I had the steak fajitas (pictured) and I have to say they were not impressive for the price. My lunch date had the fish tacos and she experienced the same level of disappointment as me. Their drinks on the other hand were amazing. I had two pina coladas and my friend had two fire balls. Really good and delightful. The restaurant had live music which was actually cool and enjoyable. So, this place might be a good place to grab drinks and listen to the live band. I would pass on the food though. I think food wise, you can find a better meal for a very similar price in the downtown area."

"We came in shortly after they opened so the odor of cleaning materials was still in the air by the entrance. So that's a good sign! They bring the food to you so that's nice for fast food. The food was good, very tasty. I got the two taco plate, chicken, with beans rice. If there is anything to fault it's that the meat was juicy and they didn't drain it well. By the time you get to the second half of your second taco, both tortillas are about to split in half. No big deal, it would be nice if they drained them a bit before putting them on the plate. I'm sure at least a few people have ended up with an unexpected dirty shirt or lap. If you order tacos, tilt them over the plate as your first step. I'm dinking a star because the last thing you experience is bussing your table. The plates aren't disposable, so I have to separate the trash from the plates and then pile everything into a square container. Meanwhile I have beans and leftover juice on my fingers. Rrrr. I'd rather get my food and have the plates bussed. Or... Disposable plates. Or... Here's a thought, raise the price 29¢, create a new job and have the food bussed in addition to bringing it to the table. Overall, it was a good experience, so I'll be back."
