"Overall it’s the same everywhere, overpriced tourist trap kinda food. But this isn’t just basic like that, it’s just scammy. They serve you undercooked “elk” meat on an Affiliated food style generic bun. Fries are separate and those are literally Surefine frozen fries. Over all the food is blah, the atmosphere is Texas typical dive bar style. This place isn’t memorable. It’s not a let me call up Aunt Jane and tell her about this insanely good meal with a unique experience! There’s better ways than this to blow your money when visiting Red River! We aren’t going to be here long and hopefully the next place we eat will not be so generic. I don’t mind spending some money, but at least make it a decent meal! Problem is in small touristy areas there isn’t a lot of competition. Put this place smack dab in Dallas Texas and they would’ve closed first month in business! Take this review for what it is, and don’t get it twisted. The wait staff is fine, the building is presentable. The food falls way flat with a hefty price.
