"I had an anniversary dinner at 8 pm, and seating went well, parking was convenient. The noise and ambiance were good, lively, and fun. Victor who served us did a good job of being attentive and quick to help us with anything. Cocktails took 15 min but they were honestly great. However, the major issues were with the food. We ordered 3 for 24$ sides to try a variety. My partner had the steak and I had the short rib and polenta dish. Although we stated we wanted to start with the sides combination, before our entree. We received the steak and short rib first. We didn't mention it and moved on. The steak came in Med-well, when we had ordered medium rare. That we mentioned to Victor. The short rib dish was missing the Brussel sprouts listed, although small, still very tasty and tender. The polenta seemed to have dried out a bit in the bain or maybe over-seasoned, if the thick texture is what they were going for. The steak was fixed immediately which makes me think it may have been a table mix-up in the best case. Truffle Mac was good but underseasoned, Fries were vibrant with heavy paprika and peppers, which is great but again needed salt, the bacon bits were not making up for it. Spinach and mushrooms were good with simple oil and seasoning. Let's be clear, none of the food was bad, maybe I expected better execution from a team built on the David Burke name, or maybe those details like salt, order accuracy, and timeliness are just that important."

"I like to try things out for myself rather than strictly rely on online reviews. Sadly, I should have listened to the reviews about the NYC Piano Bar. I want to state immediately that the lady welcoming us in and who served our drinks was impeccable and nothing in this review is relative to her except to say she was the highlight of the evening. Now, as for the reason we went we tried the Piano Bar in Spokane and thought how much fun it would be to visit the one in CDA. We were very disappointed and left early. It was Saturday night on Labor Day Weekend, you thought it would be a bit more busy. Perhaps it picked up after we left at 10:30 PM. The Piano playing was mediocre at best. The owner who plays the piano as well as his sidekick in the dueling position were not entertainers. They tried their best to put on a show but between the pianos being out of tune, their voices off key and the constant need to read the lyrics from their cell phone or tablets it was simply bad showmanship. I understand one can 't memorize the whole library of songs available but at least attempt to put on a good show. Had I paid cover I would have asked for my money back, but fortunately none of us did. We did tip to hear our songs played but again, some where unrecognizable. And beware this is not a bar in the the truest sense. Only some beer and wine is available along with a handful of prepacked aluminum can type cocktails such as Rum and Coke coming in at a paltry 6% alcohol. Frankly, had they had a full bar I suppose I would have inebriated myself enough to at least attempt a good time. We didn 't get up to dance once. Sadly, the 'canned ' music was livelier than the ivory keys being murdered onstage. Take yourself to the Riddler Piano Bar in downtown Spokane for a really entertaining time of dueling pianos if you can it 's worth the ride. We live in Spokane and we made the trip to CDA to make an evening of it with dinner, drinks and dancing. Our bad."

"Brought my family here for dinner to celebrate my birthday. I was so embarrassed by the service and quality that I felt like I had to apologize multiple times. Embarrassing! I had a reservation- but was rudely told that my reservation wasn't in the system (I was even told they're system had no reservations at all which makes me think their machine is just broken) and we were told to hang out in the bar area (which had only dirty food covered tables to sit at). Sat there for 20 minutes, we saw other parties come in and get immediately sat so we went up to the host stand to ask about our table- and the host had completely forgotten us. Waited another 15 minutes in the dirty bar again and were finally sat. Then we were told my a server that the restaurant had run out of chips and several of their menu items were not available. We ordered our food anyways since we had already sunk 30 min in this place and then waited almost an hour for our food to come out. Orders were wrong and had to be remade (more waiting). They did comp us for one of the meals. But it was the worst service and worst food I've ever had at this restaurant. Finally we were leaving and I asked for parking validation. Bar tender yelled across the room that they don't validate parking (which I know they do). Had to ask for a manager and once the manager go there he immediately reached into the stand and handed me the validation. Never coming back here again. What a mortifying experience for my birthday."
