"We understand things are difficult in restaurants, but there were issues with our dinner. Our server was polite, but did not follow up with us during the meal and missed a drink order from one in our group. Second, this was a special occasion, a 91st birthday, and our mother grew up in the neighborhood so this place is special to her. When our meals arrived, our mother's dish did not. She had to wait another 10 minutes before she was served. We politely requested that the meal be taken off the bill, but that request was denied. We were offered drinks and dessert, but we weren't there to drink and had birthday cake waiting. We finally agreed to take-home dessert and received stale cannolis as compensation. The Chateau, after all these years, should be ashamed."
