"Just moved into the neighborhood and saw this spot had good reviews. They are authentic with the flavors and real good and speedy service. My order was to-go following the day after a major holiday. Loved the taste of my burrito de carne asada. It was an average size but packed with the right balance of meat, rice (and I believe beans as well). I was able to get both the red and green salsa and they were both very yummylicious. That chipotle salsa was my top pick though. I was offered chips and salsa (which was more on the pico de gallo side), and it was also good but not spicy. I also tried the horchata (without ice) and it was cold still but super sweet and I'm pretty sure it's not made from scratch. Maybe with the ice it would have been more watered down but it was not good imo. So I'm a bit bummed out about that. I'll be down to try the Jamaica next time instead. And I'll def be back to try the tortas or other menu items. And they have a cute setup in one of the corners; It's spacious, clean and the deco is unique. I liked it! It was practically empty when I got there (just one person waiting for a to-go order), so I did not get the full ambiance of the place, but I'm sure they have their days (especially since it was the day after a holiday). If you pay with a card, they charge a 4% service fee. I did see an ATM inside, but did not see if it was functional."

"I had dinner with a friend tonight and it was fantastic! The service was excellent, the prices were reasonable, and although there was a bit of a wait for the food, it was well worth it because it was delicious! The Carne Torta did not disappoint—it came with fresh avocado and was as big as the plate, with each layer perfectly portioned. We also enjoyed fresh guacamole, salsa, and chips. I can’t wait to come back next time I'm in the area. Thank you for a wonderful meal!"

"This place always over charges on all there stuff. Plus they charge 2.00 extra on all meats and vegetables. Now I went again and ordered the very same thing I get all the time grilled chicken chimichanga and they brought me shredded instead and I tried to get them to make it right and they didn’t so I told them I didn’t want it to take it off my bill and when I got up there to pay they didn’t take it off and said if I didn’t pay for it they will call the police. So I just went on and paid for it. But this place has very bad customer service. Shalom shalom!!!"

"I'm giving this restaurant just 2 stars because the staff was friendly, but honestly, I wouldn't rate it at all otherwise. I ordered two gorditas for nearly $9, and they arrived without any toppings—no lettuce, tomato, or cheese—just meat and the tortilla, which essentially made them plain tacos. I asked my husband to bring this up with them, and they informed him that there’s an extra charge for those toppings. What?! I've been to countless taquerías, and I've NEVER seen gorditas served like this. It's quite unusual."

"This restaurant consistently has rude employees with negative attitudes. The food does not taste as good as it appears in the promotional material. The high chairs are uncomfortable and the dining area appears dirty. I do not recommend this place. The prices are a bit high for the quality of food and service. The location is on William Cannon near I-35 South with plenty of parking available. However, I believe the parking lot is always full because of the poor service and food quality. The accessibility to the restaurant is good."

"Waste of money ? Do NOT go here!Idk how it has four stars and so many reviews. My supreme burrito was mostly rice! The salsa taste too much like oregano ? the little bit of asada there was, was not tender enough and had no flavor other than salt. A lot of fat and grisel. Paid for asada supreme end up being mostly rice burrito, zero stars if I could. 0/10 would not recommend. Will not be returning to any El Grullense."
