"The food is decent, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. We placed a takeout order, and even after waiting 30 minutes, the food was not ready. This has happened to us several times; we arrive at the time they promise, only to find our order still isn't prepared. After two experiences of waiting much longer than promised, we’ve decided not to return for a third."

"I ordered on 12-14-13 5:55. I was told it would be 15 minutes and arrived at 6:10 to wait in line behind 7 people for 20 minutes. I hot my food and drove home, about 3 minutes away, to find my all of my food cold, rubbery, and no flavor! There was no flavor in the sauce for the spicy garlic chicken! I called and asked for the manager or owner and the guy pretended to be the manager. It was VERY obvious he was not. He was rude and told me I had two choices; to come back and he'd make me new food or get my money back. On a Saturday night, I have plans, so I chose to get my money back! I've never had any complaints before, however this is all it took for me to NEVER return! This place doesn't deserve one star, but unfortunately I didn't have an option!"

"Chen's Family Court is the best in Oregon. In my opinion, their General Tsaos is unbeatable. It is the perfect combination of delicate crisp chicken with a sauce that is not so hot that I cannot enjoy it. This is a court that fulfills both my husband and me. If you are looking for a noodle dish, the chicken Lo-My incredible taste w/ fresh vegetables are cooked perfectly every time. The rice? Where do I start? We always have a big order and replace the steamed rice from General Taso with the roasted for even more residues! Staff are always busy, but they are usually quite friendly. We've been going to Chen's for over 17 years. The payment is usually chaotic. You need to wait a bit, how to help your turn, but what can you do? His amazing food! Smiling, patiently waiting and going full and happy with a purse that is not completely abandoned. I mentioned very affordable for a family of 5 and that is hard to find."

"The orange chicken used to be soft and delicious, but now it’s tough, similar to what you find at other Chinese restaurants. I remember when the chicken was tender and satisfying to bite into, but now when I take a bite, part of it is soft while the rest is hard and crusty—really disappointing for orange chicken. Honestly, I sometimes wonder if they changed the type of meat they’re using because it looks a bit strange. I eat chicken regularly, and this doesn’t look like any chicken I know. You should definitely take a closer look at the orange chicken meat."
