"To begin, I ordered the curry crab firecrackers ($11.95), which surprised me with their size, resembling long cigarillos. They were flavorful and crispy, and the accompanying sauce complemented them nicely, but I felt they were a bit overpriced. For my main dish, I opted for the seafood clay pot ($19.95), which turned out to be more like a noodle bowl than the traditional clay pot I had anticipated. It lacked a good amount of sauce and tofu, which was disappointing. However, the seafood was perfectly cooked, and the bok choy and red peppers were blanched just right with a light sheen of oil. The major downside was the noodles, which led to my mixed review. They looked fine and were tossed in a sweet black pepper sauce, but unfortunately, they were gummy and mushy. This likely happened because the water used for cooking wasn’t heated properly, causing the noodles to become sticky. To compensate, they may have been left in the water longer to cook the other ingredients, resulting in them becoming overly soft. For dessert, I had a slice of blueberry cheesecake ($7.50), which was delightful; the topping was pleasantly sweet and not too tart. My friend ordered the roasted five-spice duck entree ($24.50) and the black and white chocolate mousse ($7.95). I tried the duck breast, which was quite tasty, with flavors reminiscent of Chinese preserved pork belly. Overall, I appreciate this restaurant, but the issues with the noodles did detract from the overall experience."

"First, when I called to place the order, I was told that the cheesecakes were $7 each, so I ordered two. However, when I arrived, I discovered they were actually around $9-10 each, which wouldn't have been a big deal if I'd known in advance. The more significant issue was that I specifically requested toppings on the cheesecakes during our lengthy phone conversation. The person I ordered for wanted just a simple cheesecake, so I made it very clear that I wanted toppings. When I got to the store to pick them up, I found that there were no simple cheesecakes available at all. I had no other options for my work function that day, so I checked with my boss and ended up taking the incorrectly prepared order, which was very embarrassing. On top of that, the cleanliness of the store was not up to par. There were crumbs on the floor, greasy smudges on the glass display cases, and filling splattered everywhere. It was not a pleasant first impression. As for the staff, they didn’t seem very concerned about the wrong order. They just smiled weakly as if to say "sorry," but it lacked sincerity. I don’t expect a dramatic reaction, but I would have appreciated a bit more acknowledgment of the issue. In the end, they only charged me for the simple cheesecake and not for the toppings, which I appreciated, but it doesn't make up for the overall experience. I won't be returning to this place. If you’re planning to order for an event in advance, I recommend doubling or even tripling your order just to be safe. However, the cleanliness issues were really the deal breaker for me."
