"Love Things For What They Are. I've been a customer of Hip-Hop since they opened their first location on Liberty Rd over 4 years ago. In all honesty, where else can you get a combination of chicken fish for under 10? NOWHERE. You get big pieces of fish, reasonably sized chicken wings, everything is fried to order, and they have a pretty decent amount of items on the menu. Do you go to Kennedy Fried or NY Fried Chicken and expect the greatest customer service? No. Do you expect them to have the most health conscience food? No. This spot is excellent for those who just want some good, home styled, fatty fried food. Not too greasy, the seasoning on the chicken is actually very unique and has a sweetness to it that I've never had and cannot duplicate. If you have major health concerns like high blood pressure or food allergies, you shouldn't be eating this kind of stuff anyway. Calling ahead is the best way to go at all locations I'm sure. Yes, they do chicken joint to the best I've seen it done. Thank God they came along because I hate NY Fried Chicken. It's nice to have some decent late night drunk food."
