"Great surprise teachers got 50% off. 1942 was 2 for 1. Server was good. Needs to know what the deals are when asked for drink specials or dishes. Time line was great. We got our drinks and app ordered and drinks came out followed by the app lettuce wraps. Great app. Lettuce was not crisp but I want to say it was a different type of leaf. Flavor was great. 5 mins after we finished the appetizer we got our 2nd set of drinks margaritas. Drinks were good. A bit warm on the rocks maybe a longer shake? Idk. Flavor was on point. Then 5-7 mins later we got our main course. All cooked very good. Flavor was good. First time with miso potato’s I felt they were dry and bland. Not sure if that is how it should be. Over all good experience. Music was good helped get relaxed. The person in the front was away from her station when we got there. You may want to always have someone there."

"I had the chicken satay appetizer, which was very good, albeit a little dry. Perhaps marination would help it stay moist. My son had the eel roll as an appetizer which was excellent. I had the poke bowl, which was great, but had a puddle of soy sauce at the bottom which made the last bit quite salty. The server was excellent. I had a large slice of chocolate cake for dessert which was excellent."

"This was our second visit since the reincarnation of Renaissance into Still Water. We made an Open Table Reservation but the evening was nice and we found an open table on the patio and went for that instead. We split a Wedge salad (topped with short ribs instead of bacon) which was very tasty. Her Cowboy but steak was very good; my chicken was tasty but a little overwhelmed by the grilled Brussels sprouts. Service by Morgan was outstanding again and we had a very leisurely time with dinner after which some friends joined us for drinks and dancing. JD Priest Group was quite versatile and good. My biggest complaint is that the Prime Rib French Dip had been eliminated from the revised menu."

"The restaurant was conveniently located for us and the menu looked good. When we arrived they had no way to check a reservation and didn't have a table ready for us. It took about 15 minutes for someone to even greet our table, so we could already decide on our dinner when a server spoke to us for the first time. It then took another 25 to 30 minutes for our dinner to arrive. We had a Caesar Salad, Slider and Lobster Mac and Cheese and I wouldn't order anything more. The beer was good and it seemed a fun place. There was live music which was really good, but the whole place was so loud that it was impossible to talk to."

"Worst service ever. The restaurant was nearly empty, but it took minutes to be seated. The server couldn’t keep any details straight, and half our food came out wrong. After taking away an incorrect order the waiter never brought a replacement. We were still requesting our kids' meals after the rest of our group had finished dining. The waiter never came back to check on us after he took our order, and we dealt with the food runner and hostess. No one ever offered an apology. It was a shame, because the space is beautiful"

"My wife and I have been fans of Coast for years now, but something has changed. Normally the food and service are outstanding but this year both have gone downhill. On arrival we were seated in the upstairs balcony area which has outstanding views. When I sat down on the cushioned set my pants were immediately soaked with water. When I reported the problem I was told it had rained earlier and they didn't know what to do. Didn't know what to do? Like swap out the cushions or warn a guest before letting them sit on a rain soaked seat? The staff seemed baffled on how to get a dry chair even though they were available. We noticed this happen to several other tables as well. We ordered the large seafood tower but the seafood was obviously old, frozen, and had been soaked to thaw. the result was soggy crab legs you couldn't crack and meat you could not get out of the shells. The shrimp and crab had no flavor (which make up 85% of the tower). My wife said the oysters were ok, but not great. For the most part we left hungry. Based on other experiences I won't say this will be my last time at Coast ... but if this was my only impression of the place there is no way I would return. You guy have a perfect setup with the views. I hope it turns around in the food and service department."

"I had made a reservation for 7:30. It was my son's birthday. We also stayed at the River Crab hotel there . We were seated at 7:45 At 8:05 No one still had come to.our table. Had to ask for water and 8:15 a boy brought us water and said he would send over a waitress. 8:30 still no waitress Got up and told the hostess to please send a waitress. 8 :40 still no one. Every waitress passed out table like we were not even there. I.was so upset that we got up and left the restaurant and went somewhere else.to eat. There were 4 of us and my son's birthday was totally ruined!!!!!. I have never in my life treated so poorly at a restaurant. I will be sure to tell my friends of the horrible service we received. NO EXCUSE FOR THIS KIND OF SERVICE!!!!!!!!!"

When we informed the hostess that we wanted to order food, she directed us to a different area and assured us that someone would assist us soon. We ended up waiting an extended period for a table before finally catching the attention of a staff member, who promised that someone would be with us shortly. After waiting another 15-20 minutes, we had to go find someone ourselves. Once we had a waitress, she was very friendly, but the service remained slow, from drinks to food. Unfortunately, the meal was not as good as during our last visit, and we left feeling quite disappointed."

"I wish I could provide an honest food review, but after 50 minutes I never received mine. We made reservations for a celebration, thinking we were going to a fine dining restaurant (they do classify themselves as this on Facebook) and we were met with a dirty pub table with rickety chairs. The server was nice enough but the service was awful. We ordered two items, extremely simple sandwich and wings. The wings showed up but not the sandwich. The server came over about 20 minutes later surprised it hadn’t showed up yet and went to “check on it”. Another 20 minutes goes by and still nothing. At which point she apologized and couldn’t provide an answer as to what happened… and honestly didn’t seem to care to find one or do anything at all. Fine dining is the furthest from what this establishment is and I’d recommend skipping this place unless you’re already half in the bag and don’t mind never getting what you ordered and sitting at a dirty pub table."

"We tried this restaurant at my sons recommendation due to the article in the new times. We had a 7 PM reservation and our waitress was lovely. However, she was completely overworked and seem to be the only waitress on the entire floor for the entire restaurant running all over the place. My son had the chef tasting and we had individual dishes my husband and I. The food was great but the waiting has to be addressed, you can't pay that amount of money for food these days with that type of lock and service."

"Close to the shops on Mass Ave We had a great experience at the Oakmont. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing and exactly what you want for a stellar Sunday brunch. The food was great. We’d rate the fried deviled eggs and crab cake Benedict 10/10. The brisket bagel was good too, we’d rate it 7/10. They offer anywhere from a $35 mimosa bucket with 4 juices $300 Dom P if you’re feeling fancy. Full bar great drinks overall. The live DJ was GIVING. Our server was attentive and helpful with picking items off the menu. We will certainly be back (soon)."

"Very modern and clean facility (i saw someone sweeping even the parking lot! . We celebrated a birthday party for teenage boys. The boys had fun bowling. Had to hunt down a server and we ordered appetizers and the server couldn't care less to serve us. He almost seemed bothered. Asked for bottled water and he said to get it from the bar. The second time i asked for more bottled water it took a while. Asked for spoons and received 2 plastic spoons after 10 minutes. The chips/salsa/queso was decent. Mozzarella sticks were clearly reheated frozen from the store. Worse offender were the cheesy fries. That item needs to be taken off the menu just a thick layer of cheese coated on fries. Neither the fries nor the cheese tasted very good. Anyway check came and 18% gratuity was included for 7 people who ordered appetizers. No problem but can i please get decent service! 3 stars as the boys had fun and the place was well maintained."

"My husband and I stopped in for a light bite and drinks on Sunday afternoon. We were pleasantly surprised by the great experience we had. We sat ourselves outside on the patio. Our server (I wish I remembered his name) was fantastic he providedgreat recommendations and was super attentive. The queso was superb but the cocktails are what really blew us away. They werevery reasonably priced and had something for everyone. Their house made Apple vodka cocktail was so light and refreshing. Wewill definitely be back to try more drinks and food."
