"No wait at the restaurant at 7 PM on Labor Day? I was surprised I decided to go in. Overall, it wasn’t too bad. I had to access the menu through a QR code, which isn’t really my preference. The prices are reasonable, considering the tough competition in the area. I ordered the yellow kai, softshell crab, combo chashu rice, and spicy chicken ramen. Since it was a hot day, perhaps my perception of the noodles was affected. They weren’t as hot as I expected. The dishes weren’t greasy, and I found everything quite tasty. The fried softshell crab was particularly good. Again, it wasn’t piping hot, but it was crunchy. The yellow kai could have used a bit more broth, and I should have ordered extra noodles. The combo was a great value. However, the spicy chicken dish was simply spicy; I couldn’t taste much else. I think I’ll stick with the mild version next time."
