"Solid food and a diverse menu. Calamari and clams were delicious but the clams with linguine were a tad overdone. Lobster tails were great and the crème brûlée was perfect. Very nice staff but our waiter did disappear a few times. Overall I’d recommend and we’ll certainly be back"

"I placed an online order through their website for $122 worth of food on 7 4 22 and received a confirmation that I could pick up the order at 3:30pm. After spending the time to put together the order for a household of 4 people, waiting 30, then driving to the restaurant, I arrived to find it was closed and had to return home to begin the process all over again for another restaurant. I called the next day after I noticed I was also charged for the food and asked how could I place the order and be billed by the restaurant when the restaurant was not even open. I was told I would have to wait a few days for the refund to be posted. No explanation. No apology. No offer of any discount on a future order for their mistake. Today on 7 11 22, I was finally refunded my money I will not waste time getting food from this place ever again."

"I 'm one of the folks who doesn 't do seafood (yes, I know, reviewing a sushi place, stick with me), but my fiancé was recommended Sushi Laco by a friend and there was plenty for me to still order! I opted for the Chicken Teriyaki and they made me a Veggie tempura side and pork shumai as a side absolutely phenomenal. Also got the pork gyoza miso soup food good measure.Will definitely be returning to try their other stuff, as well as feed the fiancé 's sushi cravings."

"I visited this place with my little cousin to soak in the atmosphere, and it did not disappoint—it's so charming inside! Although the line was long, we didn't have to wait too long for our food. I ordered an egg and cheese sandwich, while my cousin chose to add sausage to hers. I also tried a wellness tea, which was delightful! The food arrived hot and fresh, but I do wish it had a bit more seasoning."

"This is something I think the owner needs to see. The food was alright, and service was decent. However, my issue is about the menu, (particularly the lunch menu) and Sundays. I did not see any fine print about lunch not being offered on Sundays. My girlfriend and I ate there this past Sunday, and we we ready to order from the lunch menu. The waitress told us we can’t, and have to order from the dinner menu on Sundays. We didn’t want to pay dinner prices for lunch. I also I find this a little unprofessional because there was nothing on the menu saying we couldn’t do that. When I brought that to the attention of the waitress, she said, “well, there’s a sign at the front door” No one is going to read every sign at the door and memorize them before sitting down. Also, the sign was at the door… facing away from the door. The only way any one could read the sign was when they were leaving. Again, not complaining, but I just think the owners should put something in the menus about that so it doesn’t change peoples plans when ordering."

"Avoid this restaurant. They served rancid, gray toro (fat tuna) and could take care of less. I can't imagine how sick I would be if I didn't know better. I stood up, showed it to the main chef Sushi who looked terrible. He tried to say I'm taking this off, but really? How does that even happen? Someone had to treat the fish, look at him, stink and then arrange on a plate. I got up and went out and hoped I didn't get sick from the few things we already ate. This restaurant has no shops with raw fish. You should be ashamed. I could continue over the terrible service, sushi kitchen with settings and lack of cleanliness of the restaurant, but to serve gray colored, rancid fish, is about everything I have ever seen. Just don't eat here."

"The general chicken was tough and overcooked, and the hot and sour soup was cold when we picked it up. We've dined here frequently over the years, but it seems to be deteriorating. There are now better options nearby, so there's really no reason to put up with this place anymore. Additionally, I feel like the kid working here, who seems to be the owner's son and has been around since he was 7, is not very friendly. It's also quite off-putting to be asked to tip on a takeout order. Overall, I would rate the food a 2."

"I'm not sure why this restaurant has such a high rating. I chose to visit because it's conveniently located near my home. They have a sushi bar where there were staff members actively working, but they were so busy preparing delivery orders that I received no attention at all. As a result, sitting at the sushi bar felt no different from sitting at a regular table. As for their Chirashi bowl, the highlight was definitely the sticky rice, which was quite good—unfortunately, that's about the only positive thing I can say. They might do better if you just order rolls or opt for delivery."

"I have been a fan of hamburgers since I was a young boy, and that's been a long time. Eating any kind of hamburger from Hasty Freez is great. The taste may be a little different than others, but it is a unique taste that they have cornered the market on, and I like it. They offer a variety of milkshakes with endless flavor options. The service at the windows is excellent, and they always make sure to get the order right. I have loved the taste of their burgers since my grandfather first brought me there as a young boy. Whenever my sisters visit Albany, this is the only place they will eat. I usually order the shakebox and sometimes end up getting two hamburgers because they taste so delicious. I don't know why, but I end up devouring them quickly because they are just that good."

"Happy I finally tried it. Passing by Good Time Sushi en route to UNO over the past few years, I always wondered (a) how it would do in this off-the-beaten-path location and (b) whether it was any good. Given that it's now been around for over 5 years, I figured it must have something going for it and finally got around to trying it today. I'm happy I did.<br/ <br/ Amid a steady flow of customers (both in-house and take-out) service was fine. The Salmon Avocado Roll and Spicy Tuna Roll were both good, nothing more. The BBQ Eel Roll with some sort of sauce over it was very good. The surprise was the Sweet Potato Roll, served warm and unlike anything I've ever had before, yummily excellent.<br/ <br/ I preceded these with the squid salad which had a generous amount of squid in it and just the right kick. Also excellent.<br/ <br/ For such a small, simple establishment, I thought prices were a tad, say 10-15% high, but I suppose real estate even on Elysian Fields (not to mention everything else that goes into running a restaurant) has gotten more expensive these days.<br/ <br/ A couple with two young kids sat at the table next to me. They said they'd been coming there for years and highly recommended the Volcano Roll which looked great. They added when the first came the thought it would be very, very good or very, very bad. Happily for all, it tuned out to be the former."
